Location is convenient. Very close to the city centre. Hotel is straight on the waters so thats a plus. Has a pool (for people that like pools) Their dinner menu was really nice and plates werent small at all

Breakfast - not many options as they didnt have eggs for example as you have to order at extra cost Room service - missed cleaning our room twice even though we asked the reception to let them know. And a couple of times they wouldnt fill the coffee/sugar or put soap bars in the room. We had to constantly ask at the reception. Dinner - if you want to order food to be delivered to your room they charge extra (500 vatu)

Loved the location: right on the water, next to the Banyan Bar for sundowners, convenient to the airport and an easy stroll along the waterfront into town. We took full advantage of the infinity pool and enjoyed the complementary tropical fruit breakfasts. The room itself was small (and the bed enormous) and while it was very simple it had everything we needed including a bar fridge, ceiling fan and air con. Staff are lovely. The property overall looks as though it's still recovering from the impacts of covid on tourism and could do with a refurb, but the price reflects that. Excellent value.

Wifi can be slow, which made processing our credit card a little tricky. Sometimes noise was a factor, both from the road outside the resort and children in the pool inside the resort.

Great location Walking distance into town Lovely restaurant, bar, pool, great views. Loved the outdoor eating area. Staff fantastic, especially Lilly Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable Check out was 10am but they allowed us to stay in the room free of charge until 12 so we could use pool and then shower before leaving for airport

Pool was absolutely lovely but needs a grab rail at one side to help some people get in easier. I struggled and in my late 50s but there was also a couple in their 80s and it was so so hard them to get in and out

Location was perfect. The secenic sunsets and good happy hour prices. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. Walking distance to Port Vila city area with lots of eating options nearby. Pool was probably the best in the area and always clean. The deck around the prooperty gave it a real relaxing feeling.

The food at the hotel wasnt really good, but with many eateries just opposite the locatiin it wasnt really a deterent.

The hotel is well-located, close to the airport (which means cheaper taxi fares), walking distance to the city center and has some nice restaurants around. Rooms have A/C and hot water. The staff is really nice. Rooms have mosquito nets, but they have some holes.

The breakfast is very disappointing, with little variety. The only warm item are pancakes, which are sometimes undercooked. The hotel is by the beach, but the area isn't good for snorkeling. They do have some basic paddle boards and kayaks for rent. WiFi is non-existing in some of the waterfront rooms.

This is a great Hotel. Situated really close to the ocean, you can very easily watch the sunset while drinking a Tusker Beer or a Mocktail from the onsite bar. The restaurant is also reasonable. Good times overall. Thank you to the staff at the Moorings from making my experience what it was. Everything you will need is close by. Restaurants and the centre of Port Vila. Great spot.

Not a great deal. This place is great value for money. The only problem I did have was the proximity of my room to the nearby Beach Bar. When they are playing the disco tunes at 11pm, which you can hear word for word, it does make it a bit hard to sleep.

The staff are the best thing about this property. Always helpful and attentive and especially so when the plane broke so we could not get home and had to spend an additional three nights. As ‘layover’ guests we were housed and fed by the hotel who seamlessly organised this via Air Van for us, including a final airport pickup. It was a weird limbo time as flight plans continued to change so we could not stray far from the hotel but fortunately wifi was good and being located close to town meant we could walk to the airline office ourselves to confirm flights. We also discovered that this hotel has the cheapest happy hour drinks and really good food including first class desserts which for Port Vila prices, are very affordable.

Visiting post cyclones Judy & Kevin meant there was still some damage to be repaired, and this was understandable, but there is also some longer term maintenance that has been neglected at the resort so it is looking a bit shabby in places. The pool while clean had black spot mould, the outdoor furniture needs replacement, the shower dripped continually, the sheets were stained and all of the stained timber work on doors etc is faded / peeling. However if we were only staying the one night as intended, then perhaps we would not have noticed. Certainly for the price & location it is great value.

I really enjoyed my stay at Moorings, the hotel staff - from the Reception staff to the cleaners of the room, were all lovely & friendly! The hotel has a great location which is few mins walk to Port Vila town, I walked which was short and great via the harbor promenade. All retail stores are located near by and so is Goodies - money changing facility. The Moorings has a beautiful & clean swimming pool which has a stunning view of the harbor as well as stunning sunsets everyday (when its not raining). Overall - beautiful hotel and great value for the money!

I had experienced few power outages which was quite annoying, especially when it was so hot and humid and there was no electricity to have the air-con on. Also, I was hoping to do kayaking, which the hotel has all the Kayaking equipment (It was included in my hotel booking) but I was told that Kayaking is under maintenance and that was disappointing.

Great location and easy, level walk into town. Bus at door step, restaurants and bars very close by if not eating or drinking at the hotel. Excellent pool and was always very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only down fall would be the tropical buffet breakfast which we found to be underwhelming.

The staff and the waterfront location made this a lovely hotel to stay at. We were particularly impressed by Elva, Maureen and Lily but all the staff were lovely and helpful. This was the best thing for us. and the expresso coffee was terrific!

The room was dated. The fan didn't work , nor did the hair-dryer and the sliding door was a problem..all easy fixes. Also the main front door lock and handle was loose..didn't feel secure enough. All easily fixable.
