The hotel is in a great location. From the higher floors facing the road you get magnificent views of the Ha Long bay, sun world and the gorgeous bridge. The staff here are amazing and go the extra length to make your stay better and comfortable. We visited on the weekdays following a very busy weekend so we were fortunately upgraded to a suite which was big, clean and very comfortable. The hotel is big and spacious and decent in terms of cleaning. The breakfast buffet was big and fresh but little to no vegetarian options. The restaurant staff went out of their way to make vegetarian options for us. It was a great experience for us personally and we hope the hotel recovers from the aftermath of Covid soon, cause the impact is visible and it's no one's fault so be kind to everyone.

The first room we were given looked nothing like the description on the website and needed some desperate attention. The hotel is definitely suffering because of Covid and lack of maintenance and hopefully things will improve as they see new tourists. The pools are still not maintained owing to low occupancy but the price is hefty so maybe they should pay attention and keep at-least one operational. They also didn't have any chicken in the menu, only pork and beef which we didn't consume.

1. The view from the junior suite was really paronamic!! Really spectacular!! We could see the glorious Bay from the suite. This is a must see!! 2. The breakfast was very good. They tried to change here and there. :-)) 3, There were lots of local Vietnamese families, making the hotel look like a warm HOME instead:-))) 4. The gym was quite nice (space & equipment)j--with a gorgeous views.

1. The fact that Booking dot com said that it had a sauna but in fact it didn't--and many staff knew close to nothing about the sauna. :-((( 2. The hotel's location wasn't all that good--a bit far from midtown and other attractions. But in walking distance. :-)

The room was amazing. The bathtub from the toilet overlooks the bay and IT IS GORGEOUS!!

The command of english from the staff was a bit lacking. The doorman was a bit questionable. Whenever we wanted to get a taxi, he would call someone even when there were taxis available. We actually had a tricky time getting to the airport because the "taxi driver" wasn't fully sure of the way.

It was stunning. Staff were amazing & very helpful. Hotel has 2 large pools over looking the bay. We booked 2 rooms & was up graded to the Executive Suit on 20th Floor. Room was stunning , very roomy & over looked the Bay, SunWorld Cable Car & SunHill Ferris Wheel. These were only a short 15 minute walk away & they light up different colours at night along with the bridge. We were also picked up at hotel for City night tour on 2 storey topless bus. both these attractions are amazing & a must do. lots of restaurants are walking distance. Eco Coffee cafe serves the best food & is cheap.

The hotel itself is immaculate, the staff go above abd beyond in every single capacity. I would like to give a special mention about Pham Viet Ahn (Benjamin) who looked after me and my girlfriend throughout with a constant smile as well as giving us a free upgrade. Also amazing were Than Duc Nguyen and Nghia who welcomed us very warmly. The room was exceptional with panoramic views from multiple bay windows across Ha long bay.

The property was very clean and the restaurant was nice for lunch/dinner. There was a great view of Ha Long. The pool was nice.

All of the restaurants except the one on the ground floor were closed. The breakfast was very expensive. We also requested the floating pool tray the day before we wanted it. We were told on the morning that it would not be available at the time we requested.

The staff was really friendly, smiley and courteous. Our junior suite was super spacious with gorgeous bay view, awesome bathroom, and extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast had quite a lot of choices with good coffee. Hotel is in a quiet area, away from the hectic center and really close to the port.

It was a bit strange for a 5-star hotel to not have any minibar and snacks in the room, no room service either.

Absolutely everything We stayed here on our arrival in Ha Long then booked our son & daughter in law into a junior suite for 2 nights for there wedding. The hotel upgraded them to an executive room & decorated the room & it was very very special. we are returning next week to stay again after our travels around Vietnam

- Location was far away from anything, not many options to eat out at as everything was shut, including street food. Might of just been quieter than usual as we did stay in the quieter season for tourists.

The staff were amazing, they put roses on our bed and the bathtub with wine and a cake for my partner for his birthday - all complimentary! The room was huge and the view was spectacular. The restaurant was also huge and had a great menu. We would stay again.

The only thing we could pick on, if we had to, was that the shower was a bit clogged so took a long time to drain..but otherwise everything was perfect.
