Carles Hotel

- The location is perfect and it makes it very easy to visit anything in BA from this location. - The staff is really nice, helpful and professional. - The rooms are absolutely silent thanks to the strong insulation. - The bed/sheets are of high standard, the chair/office are good if you need to use your laptop. The bathroom is nice as well. - Best quality/price I found so far after 50+ hotels visited in my life. Great stay!

My only suggestion is to change the coffee available for the breakfast :)

The hotel is lovely, but beds were not very comfortable, and this alone can be a major issue! The hotel uses synthetic mattress protectors that got us sweating at night and were itchy. Being some one who travels regularily, most other hotel have solved this by using softer and organic materials. This is something the staff at Carles Hotels should still work on.

The hotel is a hidden gem. A diamond to be specific. It's in a great location placed midway between Recoleta and Boca. Easy access to the port for Buquebus and Uruguay. Easy access to the domestic air terminal. Great restaurants all around. The hotel is beautiful. Room 902 is highly recommended with a wraparound balcony. We stayed twice and both rooms were gorgeous. Breakfast was perfect. But best of all were the young crew of staff - Cecilia, Tomas and Nicholas to name but three. Charming, informative, smart and really helpful in navigating both the streets and financial system in Argentina. We were in BA for a week and never felt a moment of danger or worry. It was a blast!

The breakfast room is below street level and therefore windowless. This is a petty point - half an hour a day?

Great location in the center of the city. Close to everything I was interested in seeing. The staff is friendly and most speak good English which was a plus for me since my Spanish is not great. When I struggled in Spanish, I was able to revert too English. My room was clean and spacious. You can open the windows, including in the bathroom. One note, if you use a wash cloth, bring your own. The included breakfast is substantial and good. There is a small gym with cardio equipment and weights. Outside the gym is a rooftop patio with an outdoor shower. There are no towels in the gym so take your own. The staff arranged for my transfer to the airport, even telling me the exact cost and informing me that using a credit card would cost more. (Please consider the bank charges for withdrawing cash from an international 🏧 in deciding whether to use cash or credit card).

Amazing hotel located walking distance to shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and subway. Room was beautiful with soft, comfortable bed. Amazingly helpful staff, advising us on transportation, information to make our visit easy and enjoyable - even lending us a Subte pass card and providing the option of a late flight checkout. Also, we were welcomed with a delicious desert platter in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary which we really appreciated. Thank you. We will definitely stay again. Tatil (?), Leo and Aileen were amazing!

To be honest my first thoughts when making the reservations was the price quoted was too good to be true. Secondly, I was waiting for additional charges to be added when I checked it. I was pleasantly pleased that not only was the hotel an outstanding value but there were no surprises. The staff was courteous, helpfull, and ensured that our every request was listened to and answered. The location was a benefit, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff was exceptional. Stephania at breakfast was a jewel. I forgot to get the names of the front desk staff but each went above and beyond. Thank you.

One of, if not the best hotel experience we have had so far. Large room, large bathroom with an excellent shower cabin, comfortable and big bed. Perfectly silent room even on the first floor facing noisy streets. The staff is just fun and full of smile. Perfect location, great bars and cafés around. Highly recommended!

Only the breakfast should be a bit upgraded.

Beautiful hotel with extremely helpful front desk staff. My room had an extraordinary view and a Juliette balcony. It felt very Parisian to look outside and see the architectural delights across the street. I highly recommend this hotel, which is close to everything, quiet and very well maintained. Worth every penny.

Nice quiet clean hotel in a good location. Very well equipped and spacious bathroom, lots of towels, soaps, shampoos. Pleasant view from the window, decent breakfast. Helpful and very polite staff.

Very soft uncomfortable mattress for me. Absolutely empty minibar with the message that one bottle of water is at the expense of the hotel! Not even a small bottle without bubbles, what a joke? Compared to the perfect bathroom equipment. I would love a small wine or beer, in the middle of the night after a long international flight, instead of ten shampoos. It's nothing serious at all, but I would give ten stars ...

It was a clean and modern hotel in a great location. The reception staff were very helpful at all times. The breakfast had lots of fresh fruit. Our room and bathroom were spacious. I enjoyed the all day pastries in Reception.

The towels and robes were hard and frayed. The base sheet was too small and would not stay tucked under the mattress which was annoying.
