HTL City Baires

The hotel is well situated not to far to walk to most touristy places: Colon Theater, Obelisk, Casa Rosada. The rooms are very spacious with a king size bed, a pullout couch, coffee table, and a counter with a mini fridge. Breakfast was plentyfull and delicious. There was a selection of pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, fruits, scrambled eggs, vegetables, potatoes, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, maté. Great value!

The bathroom is badly designed with a much too large door for its size and you have to go over a high bath and squeeze yourself between the sink and shower door to get into the shower.

The hotel had a smart outward appearance. The room was very nice.

You have to use your mobile phone for any communication with the hotel unless you are stood at the front desk. Opening your room door is with an App. Calling the front desk from your room is via WhatsApp and even then they didn't answer. This is a step in the wrong direction. I am all for progress IF it works. The young girl at the front desk looked like she'd eaten a lemon, no smiles at all. Couldn't believe it, and I'm someone who could talk to a lamp-post!

Location, Location, Location. what a brilliant place to stay in Buenos Aires ! excellent value for money! all major landmarks are within walking distance. The hotel rooms are spacious, modern and spotless! beds are so comfy! all rooms are external so the view is great! I was told is a family business so this is why they treat you as such! I had the chance to meet Pablo the General Manager to thank him all his team for the great work he is doing and all his team. Thank you also to Ezequiel and Emmanuel from reception for being always so professionals! I can’t wait to be back ! Highly recommended!

cleaning not provide, had to pay extra. breakfast was ok, but not excellent. noisy due to location. air conditioning in room 803 was awful. reported three times, each time was fixed for a few hours and returned not to working again, didn’t want to move room. some of the furnishing are dated and need replacing.

Amazing location, close to many restaurants and stores. Common areas clean and spacious. Staff at reception and breakfast service was incredibly gentle. Room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good and everyday there were some different items Everything was as expected and showed in booking

very minor things , in our room with 4 bed ( 5 people’s) the women’s complained that they should have mirrors outside of bathroom . ( to keep the price low they charge extra for room cleaning if you need it ) . We did not need it , I think it’s a good idea but some people might not like it . : )

Location is good. The access for everywhere in the Buenos Aires is easy and fast. The room is huge and there is a lot of space to keep your stuff in the closet.

Bathroom is not so clean and tight. There is no amenities to use. (toothbrush) Very crowded elevator.

The staff there are very friendly and they helped with everything. The room itself does not feel spotless, it was clean enough though. We had a room on the top floor, was really nice and peaceful. The view was stunning.

No drinks in the mini bar. Had to go downstairs and asked for water. They gave me 2, but one of them was not sealed. I dumped it out, not sure if it was safe to drink.

Location was good, facilities clean.

Use of a bluetooth app to open room doors (instead of cards or keys) made me feel insecure. Minutes after we checked in, another group was able to open our door and walk into our room.

Although the lobby of the hotel is kind of plain, the hotel room is big and spacious. The staffs were wonderful. l really like the location. I walked to all the attractions. This is one of the best value I got for hotel stay.
