Top location, near most city-center major Buenos Aires attractions. Also, due to the high inflation rate (unfortunately the Argentinian economy is in need of structural changes), I ended up paying very little when compared to other countries, i.e., in Europe, Asia.

They didn't warn me that on my check-out day all the city center would be cut off from all traffic, including metro and city transports. There was a major parade that was scheduled really a-head of time, from what I could understand, so I had to walk with luggage for several city blocks until I found streets open, only to discover that there were no taxi/uber available due to high demand. So I had to walk even further to find a open metro station. This is something that the staff could have warned me so that I would leave the hotel earlier.

I staid three times in a span of 3 weeks while visiting Argentina. First time with all family, second and third alone. In total 9 days. It was the best choice! Very close to all attractions, close to the Aeroparque airport. The staff at the front desk was very attentive, and helpful with calling for taxis, price info, etc. Upon my departure I asked them for a favor: keeping a small gift for a friend until he was able to pick it up. They were very nice and allowed it. Very much appreciated:) The wifi was a bit slow, but working. Walking at night we felt safe returning to the hotel after a late tango show/dinner ( midnight). The extra large double bed was very comfy. The single beds are a bit small, but comfy. The air conditioning was working very well. Due to a high inflation rate ( unfortunately for the Argentiniens), I ended up paying less than anticipated. We were lucky with the neighbors, they were very quiet. Overall very nice experience, highly recommended. I will stay again.

The staff members at the hotel were gracious and exceptionally helpful to us, especially Fernando, Kevin and Carlos. Thank you! The hotel is located within walking distance to the microcentro area of BA. The area is not the most beautiful but we felt safe enough. Although the room did not have an electric kettle or coffee maker there was a water cooler in the lobby where you could get hot and cold drinking water to fill up your bottle or thermos.

The lighting in the room desperately needs improvement. The room was dark. The walls in the room and bathroom could use a new paint job as they were a bit dirty.

Between San Telmo and Retiro, near to pretty much every metro line and Plaze de Mayo, it's well located. Looks well maintained, everything was clean and modern. Great staff, especially the front desk guys, very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable, good beds, everything needed was there and worked including the very necessary aircon when it's 35c outside! Good value for the price, you can get a lot cheaper but this place is worth the money IMO. If you're from Europe / US make sure you pay with a CARD as then you get the new "tourist rate" (not with Monzo or Revolut, my Starling worked) and also you're exempt 21% VAT if you present a passport, if you pay cash you pay VAT. With cash, I'd not exchange on the street but use a Western Union (send money to yourself and pick it up at nearly "blue" rate, 90% more than the official exchange rate).

Nothing, was a good stay.

Although this hotel was basic, it had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay in Buenos Aires. The aircon worked well to keep us cool in the night, bed was huge and super comfortable, and the sheets were decent quality. Furthermore the blackout curtains meant that we managed to rest well ready for each day. I was surprised to see the comments about the staff in the other reviews, we had a good experience with the staff, especially Kevin who helped us book our tango experience and who was nice.

Very minor but the walls were a bit scuffed and it was annoying that the shower head could not be removed so it was impossible to shower without getting your hair wet.

Extra large lift made check in with luggage very easy. I also really liked they provided a hot/cold water filter in the lobby - all hotels should have this!! The room was very quiet (if we had neighbours we didn’t hear them at all), and the beds were nice and firm (my preference).

The only downside we experienced was when we arrived at breakfast there weren’t any tables available for 3 people, but this was ok as we just added an extra chair to a small table.

location is quite good , although it’s not the “Center”. you have to walk by foot or use bus if you want reach some cool places in BA. staff was friendly and check in / out was fast. room was cleaned every day

hotel is not so modern,my room had a very weird window. it was complete darkness out of the windows almost all day long because in the window I saw just some other windows. I don’t like sleeping when it’s complete darkness in the room and no any light from the windows. it feels like there is no window in the room.

Fabulous staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location in the city. Was very handy to store luggage while we visited other parts of the country. Secure with 24hour front desk. Two sinks (1 inside 1 outside bathroom) was an added bonus for the 3 of us!

Lack of a rubbish bin in the room - Only one for the bathroom/toilet. Hard floors needed to be cleaned better daily.

Comfy beds, excellent/very silent heating/AC system. Second washbasin in the bedroom. Good breakfast. Excellent location near Plaza de Mayo, Av. 9 de Julio, etc.

It was a pain to get the hotel to give me a sensible invoice (i.e., stating number of nights and passengers) which i needed for a refund request. Apparently they can only give you invoices for an "advance payment" and nothing else?!? Somewhat silly shower layout: soap dish just there where you hit it with your elbow and gets filled with water. I did miss a tray near/by the washbasin, would be very useful for putting in contact lenses.

I was taken by surprise by the very high standard of the hotel. The staff was wonderful and the buffet breakfast was fine (even if sliced cucumber, tomato and paprika were missing, like at other buffet breakfasts in Argentina). My spacious room had a very comfortable double bed. The location of the hotel was perfect, only 5-10 minutes by foot fron Avenida de Nuevo de Julio. Would I stay here again? Yes, definitely!

Can't recall anything I dusliked.
