Motel Kempsey

On booking in the manager was very nice and friendly Beds were very comfortable and room was nice and dark. Road noise was minimal. It was very handy to kempsey CBD which came in handy when I needed something from the supermarket. And Not too far off the highway coming off and getting back on. I would definitely stay again.

The only thing that the room could do with is a ceiling fan as the room got a bit stuffy. Also in the bathroom is a glass shelf that seemed to be placed at a dangerous height just as you walk into the bathroom. Very odd considering it could be higher and at a safer distance from the door. It would be an issue for little children I would imagine.

the location was great. loved the 2 bedrooms. it was very clean and had air conditioning in both rooms which was good.

the property had a slight smell of smoke in the room. the second bedroom door you couldn’t close at all. also the bathroom light didn’t work on the second day of our stay.

Clean and nicely renovated. Location close to access to M1. Good to have ironing board/iron in room. Staff friendly.

Shame that Foxtel not available across all rooms, not just in deluxe rooms (what does that mean anyway?). Access, whilst good in someways, is awkward to exit and turn right if heading back into town. Have to turn left and do u turn.

Clean, comfortable and convenient location

Generally all good though getting on the road when turning right a bit tricky as road quite busy in both directions.

Delightful receptionist, perhaps owner or manager. We were late arriving and it was fine. Smiling receptionist/manager/owner. It was a budget motel and it just felt so welcoming with a sense of clean even although signs of fatigue were evident. I would absolutely recommend this motel as a stopover for all your needs.

Easy parking outside of room. Nice clean neat room. As one of the larger rooms plenty of room for bags etc. All rooms are on ground level. Also space to sit & eat. Liked that plates & cutlery were provided in the room no need to request on arrival. Staff very helpful & pleasant 😁

My first and only option when I go to Kempsey. Amazing location, friendly staff and comfortable and clean rooms.

We booked this place because my partner and I were tired from many nights camping. The manager there was truly awesome, I was tired and I didn’t want to talk much. He explained the important, corrected my wrong address from booking.com and let us go :) he looked after bins and always running around to make this place great. Same with cleaning. I used to work in small motels before so I appreciate the afford with cleaning too. The price was high due to the Easter holiday unfortunately but understandable. I use the porch for cooking breakfast and dinner with camping gear lol as we had leftovers while my partner was watching footy. Good time :)

We were planning to stay for a 8 week period for at least 3 to 4 days per week the current week we have booked a competitor as the rate is lower

This is the third time that we have stayed here. Owner very friendly and helpful.

Not too sure if the smoke alarm was connected to hard wire or not, but unit in room never had a battery in it.
