Mantra Quayside Port Macquarie

Very clean. Comfortable facilities and very well equipped kitchen. Parking underneath is super convenient. Loved being close to the foreshore walk and restaurants.

There was a mix-up with our booking at check-in - I had specifically booked an Accessible room for my elderly parents but we were given a different one which we only discovered after taking out luggage up to the room. Thankfully there was still one available for our stay and the staff were able to reallocate my room to the same floor - although not to an adjoining one. They said the problem was with the booking platform (booking.com) but it seemed to me that reception staff, although friendly, were not particularly adept or proactive to our needs.

Large spacious 1st floor apartment with open plan dining, lounge and kitchenette. The apartment was modern and well equipped. Very comfortable and clean. It included a washing machine and clothes rack. Foxtel was available . There is a balcony that overlooked on street parking for the local shops in Short Street. Convenient location with Coles just up the road, cafes and the excellent Burkhardt's Bakery a few metres away. A walk up William Street will bring you into the CBD proper. Reception staff were friendly and helpful with directions to various sites in and around town. Easy access the undercover onsite parking. .

Nothing everything was provided for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in beautiful Port Macquarie.

The Mantra provided everything we needed. It was comfortable and clean and we would be happy to recommend to our friends and family. The location was good close to all places we wanted to visit and close to shops and restaurants. Only disappointing g thing was the view of the street would have preferred a room which had a better view.

The view from the balcony was of the street would have preferred a room on level 2 or 3 with a better view on the other side.

The room was spacious, bed comfortable, and kitchenette with excellent equipment provided was a bonus ( included small dishwasher) . Bathroom excellent with lovely toiletries. Great inclusions such as sachets of laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, hand washing liquid, hairdryer, laundry basket, clothes horse and iron. Small communal laundry on the same level. The room we stayed in was on level 1 and the street was noisy with the balcony door open, however with the door closed there was no noise at all. Good lounge seating and TV . The spa bath on the balcony was a lovely surprise and a welcome addition and extra towels were in the room for use. A great way to relax after a busy day. We also made use of the heated roof top pool ( pool towels provided, a nice touch) Good to have secure parking on site with easy access All amenities were VERY clean. Short walk to everything in the CBD, supermarket and to the West Port Bowling Club. Lovely reception staff very helpful. Super hotel !

Would have liked to have been able to set the airconditioner a bit cooler.

the apartment was nice and the location was great. the staff were lovely and accommodating

there was no servicing of the room for the pricing which was disappointing I had to ask for body wash and shampoo. all apartments I have stayed in have rooms serviced everyday. The kitchenette didn’t have a proper frying pan it was stainless steel and the food and meat stuck to the pan also there was no egg flipper. there was no scourer to clean the frying pan I had to ask the staff could they supply. The staff member agreed they needed to update the frying pans to non stick

Room was very clean, security was excellent, parking was also secure - view from room was very good, quiet - near road but very little traffic noise with balcony door closed. room was comfortable and well equipped for self catering. Lady at reception was lovely and very helpful. Table and chairs on balcony were excellent for afternoon happy hour - no table & chairs inside but not a problem to move outdoor furniture temporarily into room.

What we didn't like were only minor issues - nothing that would be a deal breaker - poor water flow at kitchen sink, bathroom flow was good. Shower needs a larger screen, a door or even a curtain to keep splashes in. I would like to return with a trailer boat but concerned over very steep ramp to garage door - would be fine if I could use the upper level of car park - would require 2 parking spaces which should be available during non peak periods.

Loved the spaciousness of the room and enjoyed the convenience of the kitchenette. The sofa was comfortable and was a nice area to relax in. The room overlooked a major road, however, the large sliding glass doors were sound proofed and we were not disturbed at all by any noise. The winter sun really warmed the room and we had no need to use air conditioning.

I found the linen and bedding not really satisfactory. The towels were thin and small, the bedsheets heavy and too many layers. The blanket or doona was thin but dense; this was adequate but not cosy. Had an issue with tv not turning on, but this was dealt with immediately, with the tv being replaced. The inhouse phone had an issue with connectivity which was unresolved.

Pool - fantastic, Sauna & gym - were a great addition as well. Location is perfect for Port Macquarie - close to eateries etc airport and the beaches were less than a 10 minute drive away. The BBQ facilities upstairs were fantastic, with the Rooftop being one of our favourite places to chill out when we didn't want to go anywhere.

we didn’t receive a very kind reception on arrival from the staff member on the front desk. I actually felt as though we were being looked down upon. My partner and i had just stayed at Sandcastle Apartments for 6 nights and the Mantra was available as we wanted to stay in Port M for an extra night. The personality and friendliness of the staff at Sandcastles literally walks all over the non people skills of the staff member at the Mantra which is why we booked another week over Christmas/New Year. My partner and i both discussed this as we walked to dinner that evening. We won’t be back.

Location was great. Room was spacious & had everything needed for a long weekend away.

Was a little disappointed with the quality & size of the towels. Really only big enough for a child & mine tore during use (I was able to replace it easily). Also, given the cost of the room it’s shouldn’t be too much to expect enough toilet paper for our whole stay. All of the literature in the room advised I would have to buy my own if I ran out which I did.
