A Good Rest B & B

Margaret and Alf were lovely and helpful hosts. The room we had was clean and very large with all the facilities that we needed. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included and the range of breakfast offerings and the quality of the breakfast was excellent

The location is such that you do need to use a car to get to town and most of the places to be visited in Alice. That said, it's a quiet and attractive location. It was reasonably expensive, but not excessively so in relation to all accommodation in Alice at that time

Margaret is an outstanding host and she and Alf really go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable, interesting and safe. She came and got us from the airport, gave us a bit of a tour of Alice, and generally looked after us much better than we’d ever expect. The B and B is pristinely clean, bed is very comfortable. Highly recommend it.

We were happy with everything, but be aware that depending on the room you get and how many other guests there are, you might have to share a bathroom,

Beautifully appointed and squeaky clean. Excellent made-to-order breakfast and very accommodating hosts. Friendly dogs are a bonus (for us)

The room (Queen 1) is advertised as having a private entrance when in fact it is a room in the house (the hosts need to let you in) and opens into the common kitchen/corridor, so be prepared to appear right in front of your neighbours and hosts in your (superbly comfy and fluffy) bathrobe. Don't choose this particular room if you value privacy (shared bathroom too, but that was as advertised)

The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. They catered for our every need and the breakfast was delicious and offerred a large range of options.

Nothing really. We were taking part in an organised tour and our location may have been a little out of the main CBD area where our pre trip meetings were held.

I have experienced the most unforgettable staying of my travel here at A Good Rest B &B. the utmost hospitality from Margaret & Alf was far beyond the words. we spent hours at night sharing our past and future as we were old friends. The room was extremely clean and cozy, the breakfast were great too. Actually, it makes our six days stay in Alice Spring become more than a meaningful trip.

Our hosts operate a relaxed and comfortable B&B, they served great breakfasts. They were very helpful with local tourist information and provided a relaxed and comfortable base for our hiking trip. They came to our aid when our taxi failed to show, provided help dealing with our 'red dust' clothing and retrieved a mislaid mobile phone and returned it to us.

The bed is excellent. So comfortable, I almost didn't want to wake up this morning. Only my body clock thought otherwise. The hospitality from Margaret and Alf was very lovely. Very nice home they have. The neighbourhood is quiet also. Even for a one night stay, Ive had a great experience. Absolutely recommend it to anyone. Didn't have a chance to try the spa or the pool but I'm sure it will be the worth it in summer.

It's a bit far from the CBD if you don't have a vehicle. But there are some shops nearby.

Outstanding focus on hospitality delivered throughout the stay - Margaret and Alf were really keen to ensure that from the get go we were looked after and that we were briefed on where to go/what to do in Alice, and that we were comfortable in the villa that were were staying in

Bed was a bit springy - but very subjective

The owners were so helpful with great advice as to how to maximize our trip. The breakfasts were fantastic and cooked with care. Our room offered us plenty of space to stretch out and relax after long days of touring.

The breakfast was delicious. There was a quite a variety of choice. Lovely dining room setting to sit at. Made us feel right at home.

There was nothing that could have been better. Everything that was needed was provided.
