Nightcap at Golden Beach Tavern

Our Room was to expectation for the price situated on the ground level with stepping out to a lovely little patio and the pool area was excellent. Had room service on our last night and the food was yum as was the lunches we had earlier and the day before. Staff were of great help and friendly.

That we had to leave. So will be booking into our room again with my Bestie .. but hopefully my better half will come next time and we will get the double bed room. lol

Just an overnight stay for work but was surprised how good this place was. The Basics, done really well, as the saying goes. The bed was amazingly comfortable, from someone who travels and staying in motels a lot. The adjoining Tavern was a bonus as the kitchen food is available for room service, and even on a Friday night was audible but didn't bother me and had dissipated by about 10pm anyway. The bathroom and shower were above the grade also.

The motel was situated next to the tavern which was great for ordering dinner. Was able to take our food to the room. The room was tastefully modernized, very clean and pre-cooled with the air con! It had everything we needed. The beds were comfy with the freshest linens!

The single-use shampoo and conditioner. I just think it's time to move away from these or just make them on request.

Situated perfect for our needs. Was close to a function we were attending. We were greeted with smiling faces, and allowed to enter our room a little bit early. Room was spacious and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our night and no hesitation in rebooking in the future if needed. Although we didn't utilise it, room service for food was a great idea

The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was comfortable. The large bathroom with huge rain shower. The pool! It was a really good size and really deep. Great for keeping small kids out of it. It was crystal clear too. The attached tavern for a beer.👍 The person at the reception was more than happy to get us extra things like a toaster and cutlery etc.

The room was clean, inviting and the beds comfortable. the room service was lovely as i was in a work training week and just wanted to chill out at the end of the day and have my meal quietly. Parking next to room was great. Ironing board, hairdryer were great to have.

Was not clear where I had to check in at first, or park from signage on the street. It was noisy from the roadworks but completely not the fault of your business and earplugs were good, a bit noisy with other rooms nearby but not too bad.

Clean room. Good air con which was necessary as very hot. Noisy road but we were not too close to it. Restaurant was handy and meals were good. Lovely pool.

First appearances were not impressive but actually was very good. Although possibly another time we would choose to stay closer to the beach. The nearby supermarket was handy.

Conveniently positioned for our event. McDonald’s across the road for breakfast. Restaurant on site for lunch & dinner. Dan Murphys across the carpark. Woolworths & Aldi next door.

Jug did not work in room 8 where my mum stayed but she had a microwave so she could still make coffee. The light above the bed in same room was flickering & very annoying, needs new lightbulb I’m guessing. No shower curtain also made for a very wet wet room.

All of the above. We had dinner on Saturday night,my wife and I didn't comment to the staff but our battered Barramundi was the worst one we had ever had. The batter looked like a like an old worn-out tan shoe and was very oily. We were very hungry so we just ate it. The chips and salad were very good.

Toilet with waterfall shower was great. Comfortable bed. Good location. Sitting area outside provides privacy and was really comfortable. Felt like a personal backyard. Complimentary mineral water was really good and convenient.

Aircon couldn't go lower than 21degs. And it was warm with the comforter. Hence,affected sleep. Can hear people next door. Poor soundproofing. Can hear people snoring. Poor wifi in the room.
