It was really well designed and in great condition. The view was incredible. It was so peaceful. The space was well appointed and the hosts had thought through many details most forget. The breakfast foods were absolutely beautifully presented in the fridge with more than you could possible expect to be included packaged up in individual serves, with a generous fruit platter and consideration for gluten-free people (like me). I don't think you could possibly beat this place if you're looking for a romantic weekend away or relaxing retreat from the world. Just make sure you take your other food for lunch, diner and snacks as well as your beer, soft-drinks and wine with you as you won't want to be driving around looking for things. The cafe which is very close by (at the top of the drive) offers some options but once you're in the beautiful villa you won't want to leave. We travel a fair bit and usually pay for the premium option but are often disappointed, so we were expecting the usual 'oversold' feeling when we arrived, yet we had the exact opposite feeling when we walked onto the deck of the villa at Glass. Wow. Just wonderful. PS - Don't be alarmed by the tap that comes out of the middle of the glass in the mirror and the flat basin ... nor the water coming out of the roof into the bathtub. My husband is a plumber and he struggled with this one thing the whole weekend haha. It's definitely unique and adds to the memorability of the stay.
We were a little confused about where to put the recycling ... so we packed it up in a bag and took it home. The bin in the carpark says 'no recycling' and there's nowhere we could find to put it. Taking it home wasn't exactly ideal though :-/

The property is very well maintained, has fantastic inclusions. It’s comfortable and so private. The views of the grounds and mountains was great. Breakfast was an explosion of flavour. Was well presented. Being able to order a coffee would have been good but the cafe is just a short stroll to get one.
There is nothing to dislike about it.

The location and view to the Glasshouse Mountains was spectacular. The room’s floor to ceiling windows ensured you were able to take in the breathtaking view both morning and night. The small ethanol fireplace was a nice touch on a cold winter’s evening. The breakfast supplied were also outstanding
The sink in the bathroom was a bit odd (weird shape) and the sound system was a too complex for us.

We just absolutely loved this property and would highly recommend it.

I loved Glass on Glasshouse accommodation. Not only was the bed comfortable, the place clean & beautiful, the pool lovely & nice breakfast but the location and view made the experience of being in our own private sanctuary for a couple of days.

Our visit at Glass on Glasshouse was one of a kind! My partner and I adored the location - the view was absolutely incredible and we truly felt secluded and at peace amongst nature. It was an incredibly comfortable stay. The spa bath, as well as the great selection of breakfast foods, meant that we could focus on sitting back and relaxing, completely undisturbed. Definitely a great place for couples looking for some high quality together time! Have even referred a few friends here already!
