Rydges Gold Coast Airport

Breakfast had a good variety of cooked and continental. The fruit was fresh and the cooked food was topped up regularly. Right next to the airport which was handy. The room was fresh new and perfect for a quick trip. The restaurant downstairs was big enough and the rooftop bar was a great treat at night with the live music Fri and Sat night. Pool looked inviting but didn't use it. TV had a great number of channels and the bathroom was clean and operational Room was super quiet

Didn't see pancakes anywhere. Had to pay for a cappuccino as they only had standard tea and coffee for the price paid for breakfast was a bit disappointing

This was one of the best experiences we have had staying anywhere in the world ( Australia / USA /Europe / Asia / South America ) We had change of flight now arriving 8:30am. We thought we'd just ask front desk if there was possibility of earlier check in ( even midday would have been amazing ), but to our surprise we were allowed ro check in 9am. Which since we'd been ip since 4am, was amazing After Being out all day, we finally got back at 1am the following multiple family functions where onsite carparkig was full, which would have left us with parking hire car in airport parking, buy front desk were amazing again allowing us to park in loading area until 7:30am where our TURO car hire was being returned. It is always the smallest of jesters that makes a positive experience And room was amazing.

Nothing. Absolutely nothing

My husband and I had the good fortune to book this hotel for our short stay recently, and we are very happy to recommend it for all ages. Each member of staff we encountered were obliging and friendly. The room was extremely comfortable in all aspects, and even though I didn't notice a housekeeping cart in the hall, our bed was made and room cleaned, even after the shortest absence. The rooftop bar was a fine place to relax and take in the skyline and watch the planes coming in to land. There are are also brief glimpses of the ocean from time to time. We were fortunate to find a parking space under the hotel whenever we returned, and we were grateful for that. It will be on our list for future occasions.

A breakfast miracle no less. After eating breakfast at many buffets in many places over the years I finally got a buffet with crispy bacon and hash browns. Being at the airport one could watch planes arriving and departing, or the beach from the rooftop bar. The staff were excellent and made a nice place just that bit better. The room was so clean and very comfortable and the location (being an airport) is well served by public transport. We went out, had a few drinks and got the bus home. This was the “Cooly Rocks” weekend and the location was away from the noise of revving engines and street noise so we could sleep after the enjoyed festivities. We will be back.

It would be nice if the pizza option from the downstairs restaurant was available in the rooftop bar.

Loved the location, so close to the airport for our departure. We could not hear the planes from inside our rooms, so that was good. The food was amazing! We had dinner at the downstairs restaurant and opted for the buffet breakfast. Best food we had our whole trip. The staff were super helpful and welcoming.

The phone in my room was not working, so I had to go down to reception when I had a question. No biggie though. And I understand that it's not necessarily a "family" hotel, so the pool was too deep for my kids to go in. They survived not swimming for one day, haha.

The room is quite nice, big and clean.

However the room spray is on the top close to the table kettle and when I'm making coffee it's sprays towards to my coffee and to my face. I had Hay fever and perfume spray makes trigger my allergy. It's ok if they put it in the toilet room.And also I've noticed that the round mirror design on the sink is too high and it's not suit for Asian like me that is not tall. I'm only 5ft my partner is 5'8 which is ok to him. The shower room has only half glass wall , no door so when I shower the water spread out from the shower. No Microwave to preheat the ready meal foods, no hair dryer. The room looks perfect but not practical and it's not much convenient.

We booked this property on the tail end of our honeymoon before flying home and we were actually blown away by how great of a hotel this was. Check in / out was fast, staff were lovely, we were given a welcome amenity and room upgrade which was a lovely touch. We dined at their Italian restaurant and loved the food. Rooms are equipped with everything you need and are quirky and modern.

Only thing I could comment on is that the hotel doesn’t offer (at least that I could see anywhere) in room dining from either of their restaurant options. We were exhausted and would have enjoyed having dinner from the comfort of our room before crashing.

I was there on a Sunday night and did not see many options for vegetarian or vegan. The little cafe did not have a very big selection of snack food available. I went to the gym first thing in the morning before sunrise and there was minimal lighting which was problematic. I could not read the writing on the treadmill due to it being too dark. Customers need to be informed of how the lighting works. I am used to being gyms that have very good lighting for occupational health and safety reasons.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The room was fabulous. Looks like the hotel has had a recent upgrade. The foyer and check-in area was light and airy. The bathroom was really nice, the room was spacious and very comfortable. Nice decor too.

I had trouble getting the internet to work. I could get the wifi signal but couldn't access any websites. In the finish I didn't use it and used roaming on my phone. Also the bar on the top floor didn't look like it had an any sort of makeover. it was quite a brown and gloomy interior, unlike the rest of the hotel which was lovely. I did eat there and the food was nice but the table felt sticky - ie as if it was not cleaned sufficiently

This property is directly outside the entrance of Coolangatta airport. Reception staff were very efficient, friendly and accommodating. Rooms were soundproof (couldn't hear planes). Lovely rooftop bar. Brand new courtesy vehicle and ride down the street very early next morning to hangar for our next flight.

The bathroom had a silly design feature with a full length opaque glass corner in the shower. This meant that if someone used the bathroom during the night, the entire hotel room lit up, waking the other person. It needs to be blacked out. Only other disappointment was that the bar closed at 9pm. We arrived just after 8pm and would've enjoyed some more time to relax up there with cocktails.
