Ambassador On Ruthven

The beds were most comfortable and the room was clean. Having my own transport I was pleased with the location of the motel. Although situated just off a main road, the room was quiet. I loved having the seating arrangement outside which was near the pool. The breakfast was delicious too and arrived on time. It was handy having the Seasons restaurant on site for dinner. I particularly enjoyed going to the Royal Hotel over the road. It was brilliant having so many eating areas to chose from as well as an interesting menu.

Everything! Beautiful rooms very warm and comfortable feeling and clean, so nice the way the rooms are decorated and the darker furniture and black out like curtians are wonderful!! Makes the room comfortable instead of painfully bright and white. Loved the full length mirror in the bedroom area and the size of the room and bathroom were great! The couch is comfy too. The spa is super nice as well. I love that there's areas to smoke undercover with seating for you to relax.

I dont like the slat blinds covering the windows! When closed they don't cover all of the window properly or sit right to maintain privacy from the neighbouring rooms that can see in the window if they look out their window.. The sun also reflects off outside buildings or shines through straight into your eyes during the day which made enjoying the spa difficult unless at night in which I was worried the light inside the bathroom would make it easier for neighbouring rooms to see in. Perhaps the blinds need updating.

The Room was clean and tidy, We enjoyed our stay, the bed was conformable we slept well. not much noise around. Breakfast was very good and hot which is nice. We got woken up by the breakfast delivery as they came at 8am we would have liked it to be delivered around 9am but the latest option was 8-8:30am . We enjoyed our stay.

Make some reservations available in the restaurant for Guests as we wanted to eat there but the restaurant was fully booked. We did end up ordering room service but there is not much space to eat.

Excellent location with easy access from main road ( Ruthven St.). No road noise, even though close to busy road. It is our third stay here which indicates our satisfaction with this accommodation. Facilities very good Cover over car, which was good in rain. Excellent standard of cleanliness. Had breakfast, delivered to room on both days. A good selection and value for money. Went to restaurant one night. Menu varied so many options. Prices reasonable. Service excellent. Food quality good but presentation could improve. I know it is difficult to get experienced staff at this time, so overall good.

Bed very comfortable, struck a group stay next door that were very loud with some swearing late at night with loud conversation after returning from the hotel seemed reluctant to go to bed who left around 6am in the morning with a very noisey four wheel drive left turning over whilst warming up so sleep was disturbed. Could not fault the friendly and helpful staff, room was pleasant. But would be hesitant in staying in the future. Breakfast was very nice.

Restaurant attached to the motel. Large room. Comfortable large bed.

I phoned the property to confirm the booking. I specifically asked if it would be a quiet room at the rear of the property? I was advised that it would be fine as I had booked an executive king suite . Unfortunately this room was quite close to the entrance & not particularly quiet. The only other issue was the shower flooded the bathroom floor.

I liked how clean the room was. Stayed in a lot of motels over the years and I would rate the room right up there, well done cleaners. Plus I loved having the restaurant right there. I did not dine in, but ordered room service and the meal was very tasty. Breakfast was a different story. Looked like it was just thrown on the plate and the chef looked at it and went...that will do. Bacon was in shreds the tomato was not cooked and the eggs over cooked. It did ask how I would like my eggs done, but did what he wanted. So that was a small let done for me. But still happy to stay there again in the future

The TV was playing up abit...nothing to complain about, just looks like it could be on its way out.

We had a wonderful stay here for 2 nights, the room was spacious and the spa bath was so relaxing, the bath salts on the bench were a lovely touch. All the staff we interacted with were absolutely lovely and helpful. The breakfast options were fantastic and we had dinner one night at the restaurant which was delightful. Great stay for a couple nights.

The beds were sooooooooooooooooooooooo comfortable and I liked how the dark curtains kept out the light in the morning ..I liked that we got breakfast in the mornings ..I liked how the fridge was big enough to hold what I bought ..

The yoghurt at breakfast was too small, should have been a cup which was double the amount. The cups of orange and apple juice spilled as they were just covered in glad wrap . The restaurant was way overpriced eg the stirfry noodles with just veg was $27 ,,,not worth that,,maybe if the meat was included. There should be more meals around the $20 mark . The meals I had were nice though...Also ,,we had a swim and we had wet towels and swimmers and there was nowhere to hang them. Maybe keep a few small wire clothes airers at reception so we could put the wet clothes outside to dry.

We had the breakfast in our deal and it was very good. Delivered to our door,at specified time. We have stayed here three times previously, which indicates our level of satisfaction. Excellent location in terms of access from highway, but still quiet at night. Restaurant menu may be limiting to some, but satisfactory for us. We enjoyed our dinner. Staff seemed happy and welcoming.
