Crest on Park

Room was small but clean. Bed was super comfortable. Friendly staff, the location was great and the street was quiet.

There was not enough parking and after going out had to find a park on the street upon our return when parking was included in the booking.

I like the quiet and secure location

Poor internet connection and at time the heating doesn’t work properly. The door gaps are too big and poor energy savings installation. Hence cold air enters the room and the internal reverse cycle system has to work very hard to adequately heat the room for a conducive stay. Simply supply of door draft control snakes can provide the visitor the option to use where appropriate than placing a pillow. Ground floor glass windows need to be tint to provide more privacy due to flimsy light blinds moves with wind allowing outsiders a peep into the rooms.

Location Love the place it's very accessible and close to everything. The kitchen facilities everything that we need although restaurants are all walking distance. Fitroy St is 5 mins walk. Acland is 20 mins walk Walking distance to Luna Park, Woollies, tram stop and bus stop outside your doorstep.

They were not thorough enough when we have added add'l night to extend our stay weeks prior. Had to go back to reception (Crest at Barkly) to have new key cards to access the complex. No biggie, just inconvenient. The complex is very dark at night in our last 2 days of stay. The lights on the veranda and parking area did not work. I had informed the reception on the first evening and the staff the following day but nothing happened.

Apartment was one bedroom with kitchenette and sitting area, dining table and breakfast bar. it is in a quiet location with access to two tram lines. One outside the property on Park St (12) and one at end of street onFitzroy Street (96). Only a two minute walk to this tram stop. Other trams run alongFitzroy Street but we only used the 96 service. Also a very short walk to the shores of PP Bay. The caretaker on site was very helpful.

You still have to do check-in at sister property on Barkly Street. Reachable by tram with a short walk. They have a check-in facility at the Crest on Park but not using at this time due Covid. However, the sister property made the check-in easy and provided the transfer to Park Street at their expense as we did not have our own transport.

Modern furnishings including bathroom (fantastic shower!) Great location, easy walking access to trams etc. Rooms serviced daily. 10pm Noise curfew. Laundry room with washers & driers.

15 onsite secure for 25 rooms. First come first served with no alternative options provided. Limited street parking 2 hour only. Public transport on doorstop. Coffee pods for cofee machine were too strong. Laundry room - the dryer which uses $1 coins is very poor on heat. Recommend using $2 coin to save precious time holidaying

Our apartment was excellent. It was spacious enough for our family of 4 (2 adults, toddler and baby). It was modern and clean. The location was great, and close to the tram. On-site parking was great.

My only concern was the communication - I had requested an extra bed for our toddler, however this was not set up for us on arrival, and we were only given 2 towels, despite booking and paying for 4 guests. I called reception to query this, but the person was unable to help and said someone else would call me back, but no one ever called back. We eventually got some extra towels, but the bed was never made up for us. We were told that they don’t set it up, and we’d have to do it ourselves. I would have preferred if this had been communicated at checkin.

Enough space. Clean facilities. Breakfast materials OK. Muesli???? Kellogs Corn Flakes are so old fashioned and basically useless material. Try providing a reasonable cereal mix that is low in refined sugar - shouldn't be hard to do and a similar cost to refined carbohydrates as per corn flakes.

We attempted to get our key a little after 2 on the Thursday. After waiting for 15 minutes we gave up and came back well after 3. This was disappointing. The staff were clearly very tired and were nort really on the ball despite trying to be polite etc. Maybe we can blame it on Covid?

The room was very spacious, cleaned daily with attention to detail.

The bed was very soft, that's the only thing that could do with correcting. Perhaps you could gather information from the guest in pre-booking stage to gauge whether they have required needs for soft/firm mattress for an extended stay over and above 2 nights? I also require my $300 to be refunded back onto my card, which has not occurred.

Good space, very quest and onsite secure (paid) parking.

The Laundry Room wasn't operating and this was annoying and we were not advised by staff but by another guest. The key pick up location is not close, and would have been very difficult if were didn't have a car. It wasn't overtly clear on the list prior to booking. The breakfast of frozen bread slices was a pretty average.

It was extremely clean, neat and had all the amenities we didn’t expect to have (coffee,milk etc). Great location for our trip. It was quiet and had block out blinds which was great for a little sleep in. A cot was available for our toddler, with a separate bedroom. Only downside was picking up keys from another location but that was explained to us prior to booking the room so we were aware. Thanks!
