Gym and pool were excellent. The room was quite nice. I liked the balcony.

They only had 1 big spoon for two of us. They need to sort that out, it is very unusual. The room pass won't get you access to the gym and the pool. You have to find the Hotel Manager to escort you, you may have to wait a while to find the Hotel Manager. We ordered the Queen bed and they gave us to single beds. They don't supply a teatowels to dry your dishes. The room doesn't look exactly like the photos on Booking.com. The photos need to be updated. The photos are better than what you receive.

In the scheme of things - I can't really complain with value for money - although the couple of dissapointments are simply minor but still a little frustrating ... *Beds were extraordinarily uncomfortable - and simply just 2 single beds literally tied together by the legs. *No instructions for washing machine - spent entire day and night trying to dry clothes and ended up having to take soggy clothes home ... *Minimal bed linen supplied ... No warmth in it at all and the 1 extra blanket didn't help the other guests sleeping in other bed/S *No towels provided in pool area and you don't realise until you need them ... *No sponges or dish soap or tea towel or broom provided to keep room tidy

Apartment, pool, sauna, spa and tennis court was good.

Front reception staff could be more friendlier. A smile works wonders! We were very lucky to get a temporary carpark (only 2 spaces) on Franklin St during peak hour so we could then quickly check in and get the carpark remote. Upfront instructions around this process should be provided to guests. Note that the carpark fee is $28 per night. Our room was not "serviced" while we were there. We needed to ask Reception where the pool / gym is located as there are no signs anywhere. Most hotels provide this info in the lifts etc. Who charges for Wifi in 2023?

Being a serviced apartment, the expectations were that there would be more than 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 5 days, more than 1 pellet for the dishwasher, an adequate supply of washing powder, a scourer/washcloth for the kitchen sink and a few other basic supplies that had to be bought eg teabags - only one was supplied. Also, previous similar accommodations have provided essentials for tea/coffee making and milk/cereals for breakfasts so all this was a little disappointing and annoying.

Photos made it seem much nicer than it was. Aircon did not work properly. It blew clumps of dust all over the couch and was extremely loud. After turning off I noticed mist coming out of outside unit, wasn't smoke, thankfully just steam. Towels did not seem very fresh, they had some stains. Dryer was terrible, took hours to dry clothes. Was a safety hazard stepping out of the shower/bath as I slipped a couple of times. Couch was not comfortable.

really enjoyed my stay here. we only stayed for a night, but was very enjoyable. the entrance was gorgeous, love the marble. staff were super friendly, and checked us in quickly. the room: the rooms were a good size, they were nicely cleaned and comfortable. the location: was great! super close to trams, aldi right next door and we navigated the city easily. overall great, and would stay again!

the walls had a fair few scuff marks and dents in them and the slider door to the bedroom area was broken, but honestly didn’t bother us too much. i can imagine not everyone would treat the rooms as nicely as we did given the price. the bed was comfortable, the pillows a little small and thin but expected with the price.

I was apprehensive after reading awful reviews on this site but Milano met all my expectations. Good sized apartment with lounge and small kitchen, large beds, bathroom which was small but functional. Great location close to tram stops and lots of food options.

Washer / dryer in bathroom was very loud and didn't seem to have a "dry only" option. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper provided for a family of 3 for a week (available at reception upon request).

check in took way too long, we sat with 4 other families, all with children and waited for over 20 minutes. when it was our turn to check in, the staff was not efficient, asked the same questions a number of times and then told us we would need tp wait for our room to be ready. It was 4pm and we had requested check in at 3pm. we waited another 15 minutes. The maintenance was lacking - the sliding door in the apartment that closed the lounge from the bedrooms was jammed and could not be moved. There was a hole in the wall.

Perfect location right in heart of Melbourne. Amazing views! Apartment is small but has everything you need. Like most serviced apartments you need to bring condiments, though rudimentary stuff was available eg shampoo, dish washer tablets. right next to Aldi so v handy! Facilities were great, pool, gym and tennis though sadly it rained a lot so tennis playing was more limited than we would like.

Annoying system of having to ask security to accompany you to let you into the gym/pool.
