Adina Apartment Hotel Melbourne

The Adina Apartment Hotel was a delightful experience in every respect. We arrived midmorning well before the scheduled check-in time. However, the friendly receptionist adjusted the room allocation so that we could move in straight away. The apartment was on the 11th floor with a fascinating view of the CBD from the lounge and bedroom. We made full use of the facilities, using the pool on the fifth floor every day and enjoying the capsule coffee machine on the same level. The free inner city tram service options were nearby and the city itself was in easy walking distance and we were surrounded by restaurants and cafes with Hardware Lane a short walk away. It proved an ideal and extremely comfortable base for our five days stay and after walking the town, we came back and relaxed with a coffee from the fifth floor with chairs arranged so that we overlooked the city. Who could ask for more?

A salt and pepper shaker and a starter bottle of cooking oil would be a lovely finishing touch.

The location was great. Everything was within walking distance. The apartment is very clean & spacious. Having a washing machine & dryer was very useful!

A little disappointed with the house keeping. On our second day we requested a house clean. Only the upstairs bed were (roughly) made, the additional bed wasn’t made. The couch was still in a mess & not made. Floor wasn’t vacuumed. Worst part is there was “NO” toilet paper or tissue & it wasn’t being refilled during house clean. The laundry powder wasn’t refilled either!! I had to call reception at 11pm (after returning back to Adina) to request for toilet psper, tissue & laundry power. Staff were very efficient & brought them to me immediately.

Location was great. The facilities in the room were great. We informed them that we would be arriving early but we’re happy to wait for a 3pm check in if necessary. No need, they had the room ready for us 5 hours early AND we were given a free upgrade! All staff were greet but the lady who greeted us and checked us in (can’t remember her name) was absolutely fantastic and very friendly!

Prior to our arrival we were made aware of the hotels no noise and no party policy. Which is fine, we weren’t planning on partying or making much noise and I understand their policies need to be communicated. However the wording of the correspondence came across as a little bit intimidating which made me a bit anxious pre stay. However this did not impact the actual stay or the experience we had!

Early check in was available for us which was terrific and staff at check in were delightful, friendly and helpful. Parking on site was so easy and cheap at $25 a night and valid until 2pm. Location is AWESOME! we walked everywhere and so many things near by. Clean, modern and great facilities. Our new go to accomodation for Melbourne weekends. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom balcony apartment.

Cannot fault the accomodation or staff however we did note there seemed to be lots of teenagers roaming around in groups. There was a gathering of some sort above us during the night with loud music, thumping and yelling/singing. Three young children in the pool yelling squealing and jumping in and out for a long time at 9pm These issues are obviously not the fault of the hotel, just observations. None of this took away from our overall experience but potentially could for others.

Penthouse suites are possibly the best in the city for value for money and great city location nested in a quite zone but close enough to be in the heart of a busy Saturday night and especially when each corner of your balcony view points direct you to a vibe that suits your mood.

Not much other than a quick cheap freshen up to the decor like paint colours need to change to brighten up the rooms and the televisions need to go and upgrade to smart tv which will lower your monthly bill on over priced pay tv options. Modern age society prefer choice and freedom to connect they’re devices to the tv to make it more home user friendly

Beds were very comfortable. the service was excellent. Location is fabulous, and staff incredibly friendly. Apartment was spacious with modern decor, ample kitchen facilities and well kept. Great views from apartment with balconies, all in all a very pleasant stay and the perfect place to stay if you are interested in shopping in the CBD and being close to the sites.

Central air conditioning did not work consistently whilst we were in residence. The staff however provided additional heating immediately which more than sufficed. A shower head needed additional maintenance, which was fixed quickly.

Excellent location with easy access to buses, trams and Southern Cross station for airport buses. In the free city centre tram zone. Reasonably quiet inside despite busy roads.

Though all the appliances were there an working, there was a shortage of cooking utensils and the impression is that cooking is not expected. If a few "kits" containing sharp knives, kitchen scissors etc. were kept at reception and issued against a deposit, returned when the kit is returned complete, the cooks could cook happily!

Fantastic location. The room was perfect. Amazing value for money, I'm extremely happy with the price we paid for our stay. Staff were friendly. Housekeeping everyday. Everything we needed was in our room. The view was beautiful and lovely to look at during the day and at night. Small touches were there waiting for us upon check in that were a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here again. I didn't want to go home, could easily live here, felt homely and so comfortable. Beautiful hotel.

Can't really fault anything to be honest.

room was great clean we loved location room service tops desk had staff full time was great friendly i love how clean everything was one best place we have stayed and lift was so quick to as we stayed on 15 floor fast asgetting to ground level this place is a top place to stay 5 star

only thing i could find a fault with was the hot water in the shower was hit and miss in the morning and evening when it was warm i think everyone was showering need to look hot water as we told staff but still l;ove the place and will go back even with cold showers lol

Very comfortable suite in a great location. Staff were really exceptional. Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Air conditioner broke down after our fifth night and we had to move to another room to sleep for one night. But staff were very accommodating and helped resolve the problem graciously and effectively.
