Peppermill Inn Motel

The room was clean and comfortable. The adjoining bar was great, play area for children, the staff all genuinely friendly and helpful and the food was exceptional (if you are hungry you will get a generous sized pub meal). We had our meals as room service, even on the Saturday night the bar was full of locals and functions, yet once we ordered we did not wait for long and meals arrived hot. This was a work trip however we are definitely discussing to come back and actually spend some time visiting the area and staying again for relaxation. Oh and regarding the room, when you are staying for longer than a night the fact they supply a toaster and microwave in the room allows you to be able to have some breakfast before setting off on your daily activities

The location and convenience of having the bistro at the motel so we were able to eat without having to go anywhere after a long day of driving

The room I booked online was not what we were given. We were put into a room at the very end of the motel complex which was half the size of what I booked , our original room was given to someone else .We were stuck right next to the motel laundry and one of the cleaners tried to enter our room at 7.30 in the morning as the room was not marked on the door with a number and she thought it was the laundry. I wasn't impressed as I had booked the room weeks in advance for our travel from Qld to Victoria and its like we were given that room as an after thought because they put someone else in our room . I was at the point of requesting a refund which i did not get. The manager was very apologetic but it still should not have happened

Receptionist Leah excellent. Responded to my email enquiries. On site excellent customer service. Nice quiet room. Fantastic shower. Large room. I have put what I didn’t like but only for management to look at as not all disabled in a wheelchair. I’m 183cm tall and found difficulty accessing items Room was spotless.

Leah moved me to a disability room which became available. Not the fault of Motel but Disabled Car Park first night had large Ute no disabled sticker. Being a disability room Electric Kettle and Toaster at ankle level in cupboard. Lack of power points. Had to unplug Microwave to use either kettle of toaster. Tea Coffee cups etc maybe could be set up better. Bedside clock unplugged on wall and in bottom of bedside table. I couldn’t reach I could have asked and would have been rectified. Only posting so others with a disability this might be addressed.

We stayed two nights in a twin room. The cheery staff were fabulous, happy to accommodate our needs (downstairs room, booked second night on spec.) and looked after us very, very well. Room was spotless with an excellent, roomy shower; crisp, white sheets (elderly mum especially appreciates this); more than enough towels, a few extras in the fridge; Android TV; effective aircon; everything works. We ate both nights at the Bistro onsite, excellent coffee (thanks Leah!). Handy to shopping centre and takeaways just up the road.

Got no complaints really, but we could have used another towel rail or some hooks in the en suite.

The bistro right next door was great and we were looked after in getting a table as we were staying in the rooms. The overall room was a great size including bathroom. The room facilities were very great, shower lovely and having a couch was lovely. would stay there again.

The bed was a little hard for our liking and not having easy access to be able to park outside our room on the night we arrived. but we managed. There was a function on and it was booked out so understandably so. But that also was a bit upsetting as we had people walking past our room very loudly talking at midnight then again in the morning around 6:30amish we had people being very loud outside our room. Maybe some signs saying keep noise down and respect other guests might help.

I liked the comfieness of the bed and the staff were very nice. The heater worked brilliantly and warmed up the room in 5 minutes max. The food was delightful and was a really good amount for the price.

It was very frustrating when we went to use the television as we couldn't watch many of the channels. It was disappointing that we couldn't use the spa bath even as a bath. We also didn't like the idea of paying for what's in the mini fridge as it was really easy to get out of.

Was very convenient location and a one stop shop, I stayed and had evening meals there every night of my stay.

There was only one downside on one night a group were staying in two units. One started trouble at 10.00pm. Then came back to unit 4 at 5.00am the following morning and caused much trouble. Smashed door and finally arrested at 6.00. They should have been evicted after the earlier issues. Not the venues fault but they should have acted earlier.

It was disappointing for us that we could not get breakfast. Also it would have been very useful to have a shower cap supplied in the room as we were going to a wedding and after a visit to the hairdresser - a shower cap would have been very handy. It seemed strange that we did not have an allocated parking space outside our room and we were told to park anywhere!

we stayed here twice once on our way to Melbourne and then on our way home …. the staff where friendly and helpful, rooms where large and clean decor a little outdated but clean nice location and great food at the bistro

our second stay / room the spa in our room wasn’t working and the decor was a little outdated, the room we stayed in had an adjoining room which made me feel a little unsafe. but we would stay again

swimming pool, bistro near if you want to have something handy to eat, lots of parking. Leah and her staff very welcoming and helpful, also offer to my partner to stay in the pool (as it was a very hot day) even after the check out while waiting for me.

mattress very hard and pillow very high,not for everyone. we were on the ground floor and it was very noisy however this is not a motel’s fault. There were a spa in the room but it wasn’t working.
