Karratha International Hotel

Comfortable room. Excellent bar and restaurant - nicely laid out and good food. The petroglyphs in the nearby national park were excellent though I think we were only given access to a tiny number of them. We also visited the old town of Cossack on our way out of town which was a pleasant little stop. If Roebuck jail had been renovated and open, that would have been an excellent place to visit - just pity it is in the state that it is in.

Town is very modern with nothing particular to recommend it - only worked for us as a stop-over on our journey. But the hotel itself was a good place to stay.

Lovely swimming pool, loved that the gym was available to use 24 hours. We had breakfast included with our stay each morning and there was plenty of options available. All of the staff are all absolutely lovely, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend the pizza, we ordered ours via room service and it was absolutely perfect.

Only negative would be that the gym was really hot first thing in the morning, possibly with the addition of an extra fan in the rowing machine side of the gym would help. But otherwise all good.

Room was totally unexpected in the nicest way it didn’t look like anything special from the outside but we were delighted once we entered the room. The presidential suite was exceptional and great value for money too. Hotel facilities exceeded our expectations too. Fabulous!

Nothing really but some clearer directions for finding the room would of been helpful as it’s not in number order where the suite is to the rest of the rooms in the 700 numbers but it wasn’t a big deal we found it in the end

Excellent customer service at reception & restaurant. Clean & tidy rooms everyday. Pool & area is clean, tidy well maintained. And the grounds are well maintained. Great place to stay.

TV remote was a bit hard to get working, might need new batteries. Our adjoining rooms aircon remote wasn’t working, but we used our rooms remote to control it.

The room was really clean and comfortable. We requested a cot & it was provided with clean linen and the baby slept well in it. Bathroom facilities were very clean. Everything we needed was there. The location was perfect for where we needed to be, and we got to enjoy a lovely swim in the pool, which also presented very clean & well maintained. We were very happy with our stay.

Had a takeaway Pizza from the hotel restaurant and sat by the pool to eat it with a red wine. When the Pizza was delivered to the table we were told that we couldn't drink our wine there as we hadn't purchased it from them. NOT HAPPY. Took our wine and Pizza back to our room when we could have had it outdoors on a lovely balmy night.

The staff were awesome, went above and beyond in all areas. Right from the young lad at reception on our arrival, what a lovely young man, could not do enough for us. Extremely friendly. The relaxing atmosphere in the bar area made it a lovely place to sit and relax with a nice wine before going into the dining area for a nice dinner. The food was great. Breakfast the next morning was also a great experience as we were running late and the kitchen staff still allowed us to order even though they should have been closed. Beautiful omelette. Well done !!

The only thing that was disappointing was the extremely noisy people in the adjoining room, continually yelling at their children and children screaming back, banging doors and allowing the children to constantly bang on the wall from 5am on the Sunday morning. It was very disrespectful for other guest not just us.

The rooms were nice sized with good bathrooms and comfy beds. We loved the pool and closeness to Karratha town centre.

The breakfast offerings were the usual but lovelessly put together, epitomised by a granola muesli which was rock hard and would provide any dentist with lots of work. Dinner was good.

I really enjoyed my stay loved the big room and kitchen bar area.

I stayed at the property last year and I think that the room service menu was the same back then need more items to order and in both languages to understand what you are ordering and eating.

the cold pool was looking forward to a swim with the heat of the day however the pool was just too cold for myself, the ability to purchase a cold drink after hours on the first night as we hadn’t been able to get to supermarket for juice or cool drinks
