Having an individual bathroom was terrific. The window was big, so keeping it open helped with the high temperatures. The cleaning people did a great job, especially in the bathroom. The common area is vast and the sofas are comfortable. There's a metro station nearby and a bus that comes from the city center and stops close to the hostel too. You can also find some restaurants and bars in the region.

The lockers were very narrow and hard to use. Many travelers didn't use it because of that. It was very bad. The bunk bed was not tall so you couldn't sit in the lower bed without hitting your head on the upper bed. There was a little too much noise during the night and no one from the hostel to fix it, some lady had to leave her room to scream at those people. I didn't see any of the hostel staff neat the rooms, just the cleaning people, which was surprising and not very nice. People from reception were polite but not friendly.

Although there was no kitchen, as such, the staff were amazing, storing food in their fridge, providing us with hot water for tea, etc, even in the morning chaos of people checking out. There were various spaces to sit, whether to eat or to socialise, along with a pool table and table soccer. A great place!

A little away from town but easily accessible with bus, train and subway. If they provided an urn in the dining area with hot water, paper towels and perhaps cutlery, it would be easier for them in the morning and we could clean up after ourselves better. The staff, however, were incredibly helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble for them

The was my first time to sleep in a room with strangers but I had an open mind. The building is very close to the bus stop. I arrived in the night and the check in was quick. There were food places open until 10pm, 3minutes from the property. The place was very clean. I took 1 room with 4 people and it was not so bad for one night, I slept well. The wifi was not working good in the room, I guess it was to ensure that you don't disturb the others lol. What I really loved was that there were several couches in the lobby area and the sitting room. It was not only hard chairs. It was also very quiet and calm outside for people who like to smoke.

The vending machine was a bit expensive, try to buy what you need before getting there and don't forget to take your own towel.

The very friendly lady at the reception when I arrived moved my booking from a mixed to female dorm, because she saw I was traveling alone. I thought this was really considerate and I got very lucky because no one else arrived after me and I had the dorm to my self with en-suite bathroom! I also was in the a&t hostel in Salzburg, and the organisation of that hostel was much worse. The beds weren't numbered and somebody else just took over the bed that I choose. The rest of the beds were all used even though there should be free beds. The Vienna a&t hostel was much better! More comfortable wooden bunk beds instead of iron ones and better organisation. It's a bit further from the center, but I got a very good price and still it was only a twenty minute walk.

Card locks to rooms, power port near ber, 24/7 reception

Suffocation in room. Can’t keep the windows open at night. If you keep open, lot of noise. If closed, suffocation. Breakfast was not available for 1st 2 days due to staff shortage. 3rd it was available but different timing. Entry to breakfast was closed at 9.55 where in we could clearly see there was lot of food available and people were still taking. The guy said we are closing so you cannot have breakfast!! Irony Parking on streets outside hotel was 15 EUR per day, unbelievable

I had the most wonderful stay at the property I booked on Booking.com. The location was superb – centrally located and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The free parking provided took a weight off our shoulders, as parking can often be a hassle in busy areas. The owner was a true highlight, always available to answer our questions and offering valuable advice on local attractions. Staying here felt like being at home, thanks to the warm hospitality and thoughtful amenities. I wouldn't hesitate to book this property again in the future.

The hostel has 295 bunks according to a member of staff. Over the Easter weekend the hostel was full. The staff worked extremely hard to meet the needs of their guests. I received excellent directions for my wondering around Vienna Old Town. The Subway station is nearby. Give it or the tram a go. Ask the staff for advice. Be an explorer! Regarding my accommodation, my dormitory was spotless. The private shower/toilet room was a special benefit that worked well. In a similar vein, my bed was comfortable and warm. An extra benefit was the presence of a Latvian choir visiting Vienna for an Easter service. That stayed in the hostel. They rehearsed in a room adjacent to the lounge. It was lovely to hear.

Receiving caviar for breakfast with a glass of champagne would have been a nice touch, but frankly the hostel staff worked wonders meeting the needs of the guests. There was nothing to dislike.

Popular with migrants and tourists alike, the hostel is located close to a subway station and shopping. The guesr rooms and the common seating area are pretty decent for a hostel, clean and comfortable. There is no kitchen for the guest, but the stuff makes a free hot-water dispenser available at the reception. (Except for my last morning, when their kettle apparently broke)

All was fine. No complaints, other than that the kettle broke... I hope they'll replace it soon.

Hostel is very modern and clean, the bed is super comfortable, the bathroom was very clean. The location is a bit away from the center but still very convenient.

The teenagers on my floor were screaming, running around and slamming doors all night. The girls in my room were angry that there was someone older with them (even though I did not bother them in any way), so they made sure to make louder and louder noise when I tried to sleep, so they were waking me up every 15 mins through the night (and they were bumping into/shaking my bed too). So I checked out before dawn even though I wanted to stay longer. But it's a youth hostel so the teenage behavior in not a big surprise, it all depends on if you can find it fun or if you would like some rest at night

The rooms were very clean. The mattress was of pretty good quality. There was an electrical outlet even in the top bunk to charge your phone at night. Nice neighborhood with a supermarket nearby (1min walk), lots of food options (restaurants and fast foods), a park and two metro stations. Not much noise at night coming from the outside. Staff is always available.

Not really the hostel's fault but it was really really noisy at night. People were talking very loudly, even yelling sometimes, and partying in the hallways up until 4am, several nights in a row. You have to get a key for the locker in the room instead of being able to use your own lock.
