Best Western Plaza Hotel Wels

The main thing we found about this property is the staff support and the Location. The staff at reception are really helpful, especially we were seeing Mr. Christopher, who was always pleasant and running to meet the guest requests. He was attending the reception and also helping the other guests at side with requirements. He helped us to get the taxi in no time, also the receptionist at our check-in time (didnt get his name), he was also very helpful. Hotel facility is great and meeting our requirements. The location is the most advantage for us as it was connecting to all the main places like Visa office, Train station, bank, ATM etc.

It is nothing major, but when we gave for cleaning the room, the bed was not set as usual in other hotels. The bed linen was just put on top of the bed without proper make.

A nice hotel in the center of Wels. Enough restaurants and bars in the area for a nice evening. The room was very clean and tidy. Very good beds and a nice spacious bathroom. We only stayed one night because we were passing through. But we will definitely come back a little longer to admire the beautiful city. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking is possible under the hotel in a parking garage, the costs are € 8.50 per day. But maybe you can also park nearby for a different price or for free.

We did not discover any negative points during our short stay.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The beds were also comfortable-not too soft.

I had a problem with my booking. I made the reservation over the booking.com app. I was traveling with my wife and daughter and tried to book a room for three people, but the system gave me only one option for two twin rooms, and I made the reservation. After I got to the hotel, I heard they had room for three people (with an extra bed). When I wanted to change my room, they told me they had sold the last room, but I had already made my reservation several hours ago on the same day over the booking application.

- Take care - the ****Hotel at this name not accept cash payment with 200 Euro - in 2022! The receptioner personel is not able to offer you any alternativ to this issue-unacceptable by 2022 and ****Hotel. - Parking place by street offered by ****Hotel in 2022! or paid extra! - don't take rooms to the main street - too noises!

The room had a little fan, that was really useful, because the temperatures were really high outside. The room had a minifridge, which really came in handy during summer. The bathroom was beautiful, the best part being the mirror with magnifying properties. Also really liked the self-service check-in and check-out, plus the fact that check-out could be done until 12:00 was awesome.

We had a short, comfy stay in a twin room; good shower, electric kettle, tea & coffee. We didn’t use their €8.50 daily parking as we lucked into a street spot (free between 6pm & 8am, €1/per 2 hours otherwise). Tasty nearby Balkan Bakery. Super friendly staff. Very good value. Recommend.

The location for me is nice, walk a bit there is lot of restaurant. Breakfast is good.

Well. Normally if stay in 4 star hotel for over 2 nights they should need to change the bed sheet. I stay for over 4 nights and nothing change.

Nice room. Nice beds, enough space and good bathroom. They are pet friendly :) You can park right next to the elevator (8,50€). Its walking distances from a city center.

the breakfast was ok, but I didn’t think it was a good value. The lights in the parking garage are on a sensor so that when you get out of the elevator it’s dark for a moment.

I visited Best Western Plaza in March 2023 while traveling trough Europe. Easy access form the motorway, friendly and very professional staff, clean and spacious rooms, lovely bathroom

The room was cold over night and there was no extra blanket.

The room was clean and pretty big for one person. Based on the reviews i also opted for the breakfast and it was excellent. The hotel is located in a quiet place the only problem are the parking spots (there are none available for free, the only option is the municipality paid parking under the hotel).

Lack of free hotel parking spots the only option is the payed municipality parking under the hotel.
