Very good hotel, very close to the central square of the town, which you will definitely want to visit. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a splendid buffet with cold meats and cheese, and if you asked the very helpful lady who was on duty, she'd make you bacon and eggs. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Incidentally, there is paying off-road private parking if your car is visibly loaded with holiday stuff, but if not, there is plently of space in the public parking outside the hotel. The area is quiet and low-risk. Mons itself is well worth the visit, especially if like us, you know a bit about August 1914.

Nothing comes to mind, except that we wanted a quick beer at the bar before retiring, and while the chap at reception was happy to sell us a few bottles, he was rather worried - needlessly, actually - that we'd be noisy and wake up the other guests. In other words, if you're planning a stag party, this is not for you. It's a quiet, civilised place which is exactly what we all wanted.

I liked the style and size of the room, the bed was comfortable, everything was clean. The curtains were massive for the windows, which i thought were cool! The private, gated parking was a real bonus as we traveled via motorbike, although my mate failed on the gravel on his large touring bike and had to park on the front while I scampered up the hill.

The room was on the ground floor next to the pavement in a busy town/city. No air conditioning, but did have very quiet fan which is probably fine most of the time I imagine, but it was hot when we stayed. Checking in was laborious after a fair old journey but there is an option to check in online.

Nice hotel great for a stopover we're travelling on motorbikes secure parking round back of hotel the carpark though is gravel and slopes ,so you have too take care on a motorbike. About 5 to 8 min walk to the town square with bars and restaurants.

Nobody seem to man reception when we arrived around 4pm Nobody their but a phone number to ring got no answer so I had a walk round knocked on a couple of doors, then a man came out sito us after a few minutes, also the next morning Nobody about luckily I fond the fob to open the rear electric gate behind reception desk so sorted ourselves out.

It's a well run cute hotel. I had made a mistake with the booking but the staff added an extra bed for my 3 year old instead of the cot without extra charge or major issue. We are a family of 5 and we had 2 good sized rooms opposite eachother which was great, the bathrooms were good sized and lots of storage. The rooms had great big fans which were great. The black out curtains were great, and quiet rooms we slept late every day which is a novelty! Handy you could get decent wine, beers and soft drinks at reception.

Not a massive of fan of the bathroom flooring but it looked nice and the size made up for it. Also pillows were rather large. The location was ok but a bit of a walk from the centre but great for memorial museum. You have to pay for parking in the hotel but we got free parking outside no problem.

Nicely refurbished room (although the black walls in the shower do make it gloomy). Good WiFi. Able to arrange a late check-in - it's 25 minutes stroll from the railway station (which is a confusing building site at the moment) which put me beyond the official end time. There were Tea and coffee making facilities in the room so I was able to start my day with a cuppa.

I followed the check in instructions and turned up with my QR code but the receptionist didn't have a scanner for it! Only English language option on the TV was CNN.

Great location - perfectly positioned for the Mons Memorial Museum just down the road, town centre a short walk away (which was very vibrant) and a short drive from the local war cemetery. Easy to find, with free parking right outside (limited but we were lucky to find a spot without any problems). Lovely big bathroom and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

The fridge in the room didn't seem as cold as it should be - might need replacing. Otherwise, all was good.

it was a lovely hotel. the staff was very professional and friendly. the room was lovely and clean. very close to the centre of Mons.

The parking at the back of the hotel needs to be tarmac. it has small stones and it is on a slope so cars and motorcycles seem to slip at the bottom pushing all the stones downhill. can be dangerous for motorcycles getting out.

Well appointed hotel. Clean room and good facilities. Easy check in.

I stayed during a heatwave so having no AC made for an uncomfortable night. the room was facing the very busy road so having windows open also wasn’t an option. Location is a little out of town but it’s a 10 min stroll to the main square up a street with shops and a couple of cafes.

The size of the room, the blackout curtains, the bathroom was clean and large, the view from the window, parking in front of the hotel, accommodating manager, an elevator!!! and proximity to the Grande Place. We did not eat breakfast there so I cannot comment on that. They also supplied the extra pillows I had requested but, unfortunately, they were very hard so were not used. This is a good hotel to use as a base to explore Mons and the surrounding area. Make sure to leave time to walk a couple of blocks to the War history museum. Absolutely worth anyone's time.

The mattress was very firm, as were the pillows.

Very nice welcome and good size bathroom. very convenient for the city centre and free secure parking for motorcycles, but...

The motorcycle parking was on a steep slope with very deep gravel, and it was not suitable for touring bikes, so we parked in front of the hotel, which seemed pretty secure. The floors of the hotel rooms sloped strangely.
