Hotel Almira

What to say, during the whole stay at Hotel Almira you felt, that it's managed by a family. I've been welcome very warmly, received first and important information. Room has been quite enough and was clean as you expect. Service was brilliant and also included breakfast. About location, next to the historical bridge everything is written which means, I can only strongly recommend Hotel Amira. PS: I forgot something in my room and hotel will forward it to my private address. It's also something, which is not done by each hotel respectively by staff of hotel. Thanks a lot and as other guests too, I will come back latest next year.

We were greeted by extremely friendly staff at the reception upon our late arrival. The rooms were very clean, well-kept, and nicely furnished. The bathrooms were spacious and modern. The hotel also had an elevator. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of food, including delicious local pastries. The parking behind the hotel was huge and fenced - private. There was a direct entrance from the parking lot at the back of the hotel. Great location as it’s only 150m from the old bridge and the city center. Comfortable room and great location, right next to the Old Town. There were lots of options for breakfast - more than any of the other hotels I stayed at on my trip. Some of the staff only spoke limited English but they were all very friendly - they even packed me a lunch to take with me on my final day as I had to check out before breakfast!

Wifi was a bit patchy in my room - it worked well when I was sat on the sofa close to the door, but not when I was in bed. It also got a bit noisy in the restaurant downstairs in the evening, but it quietened down before I went to sleep so it didn't disturb me!

The location, being a short walk to the Bridge, was excellent as was the on site parking. Our room was quite roomy with a terrace and lovely city, river and mountain views. The breakfast was a basic continental style breakfast with a couple of hot egg dishes. Filter coffee was free but specially made coffees incurred a charge. The staff were really lovely - very helpful and friendly.

The hot water ran out half way through the second shower.

I must say this hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is prime, right in the heart of the old city, and 2-3 minutes walk to the Mostar famous bridge. The rooms were on the smaller side, they were cozy and perfect for a couple. The highlight of my stay was the heavenly breakfast. The food was not only tasty but also had a homemade touch that made it all the more The hotel was adorned with a captivating array of antiques, pictures, and beautiful decorations throughout. These charming details added a unique and homely touch to the ambiance, making my stay even more memorable. It truly felt like a blend of modern comfort with a nod to the city's rich history. This hotel is a gem worth experiencing in Mostar.

I really like the location, a stone's throw from the Old Bridge in Mostar. Almira, the owner of the hotel, made check-in smooth and easy. The room was nice, clean and cold with a big terrace overlooking the old town of Mostar and partly the Old Bridge. I wanted to explore Hercegovina and to show this part of Bosnia to my husband and Hotel Almira was a good choice. The interior is decorated in an old Bosnian house style and I'm really grateful we were able to see it and enjoy it. Breakfast was delicious and tasty. There was a huge section of different cheeses and fresh fruit choices. If you want to explore Mostar and Hercegovina, this is the right hotel for you. Clean, cosy, excellent location, very kind and polite staff. I really enjoyed every minute of our stay here.

Location of this hotel is the best! It is literally just 2 minutes away from the Old Mostar Bridge. And the fact that is has private parking is a great plus, especially since it is so centrally located. Breakfast was ok, we had enough options to chose from.

Roms can be quite small, especially twin/triple rooms, they barely have enough lugagge space. Also, right next to the hotel is a darn bar, that acts like a club at night, and they blast music at a really loud volume that could disturb you if you are a light sleeper. So this is also something to take into consideration. I know it is not the hotel's fault, but it was something that bothered us when we wanted to sleep.

Hotel Almira is the perfect place to stay when visiting Mostar. Staff is super nice and helpful. They can easily organize excursions for you in the region. Both Amana (spoke very good English) and the owner of Hotel Almira (wonderful lady who spoke very good English and very good French) helped us with tours and bus information. As for the location of Hotel Almira, you can’t get any better (very quiet place, but still only a 3-minute walk to the old bridge, which is Mostar’s most important drawing card.) Our room at Hotel Almira was very clean and comfortable, as was the entire hotel. The included breakfast buffet had plenty of delicious food options. We also decided to have supper at the hotel one evening and the food was excellent. After speaking to other tourists who stayed at other hotels in the city, there is no doubt in our mind. We highly recommend Hotel Almira to those travelling to Mostar.

We loved everything.

It is a wonderful traditional hotel with impressive handmade and legacy objects. It is very picturesque and the services are offered with great care to the customers! The location is great! They offered free parking while we visited around and waited for us until late at night. I am very grateful to all the staff <3

The room was cold even though the heat had set for high temperatures. It was a warm October but for my grandma it was hard to stay warm during the night.

We only stayed one night and wish we could have spent many more days here. Located only one minute from the famous bridge and the cobbled streets of the old town. The large parking lot at the back is super convenient. The rooms are large with very comfortable beds. The shower is powerful. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice of foods. Super staff. Best value for money. What else is there to say? Thanks to all at Almira for a memorable stay in Mostar.
