Green Life Resort Bansko

Pros: The staff was really polite, professional and helping, - both dinner and breakfast were good and diverse enough, - there were enough parking spots, - pools were big enough for the number of guests there were - amazing views - clean

Cons: The fact that there was a kid's camp during almost all our stay made it a bit too noisy and not relaxing enough for us, there was no AC in the rooms and the fact that our room was with pitched ceiling also wasn't really appreciated. - The lift didn't work the majority of the time. - The Wifi connection was bad

Hotel facilities are great. Small indoor pool is nice with different sauna rooms in the spa area. Apartments are spacious Good breakfast including fresh vegetables and fruits. Location is a bit far from city center yet walking distance to hiking or biking trails leading to forest and mountains. Staff was very professional & responsive to any requests.

Rooms are a bit run down. Weak WiFi in rooms. Having no air conditioning during summer nights is ok but during the day & afternoon it might be problematic. Outdoors adventure park costs extra, I would expect it to be complementary for hotel guests.

The room is very spacious and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast offers a good choice of food. The room service food is very tasty and with a reasonable price. The surroundings are very pretty with a lot of greenery and great view. It's out from the city center but not very far away; easy to reach by car.

There is no lift to the breakfast area, only stairs. It's not very convenient with a trolley and a small baby. The pool and spa area was very crowded and noisy. And for some reason, the staff in the spa area are very unfriendly to compare to the rest of the resort. But we somehow expected as we saw previous reviews, some wrote "don't choose this accommodation if you're going for the spa".

Good breakfast, automated dispensers for water, juice and coffee. The restaurant is a bit overpriced, but the food was fine. We stayed in a big room, clean, with kitchenette but without oven or microwave, just a kettle, an empty fridge and a few glasses. Indoor playground is a plus.

The pool and its surrounding area need a full restauration... don't choose it for the pool/spa. The extensible sofa was not properly cleaned, it had spots and a bit dirty. The elevators are small and old. Overall it looks like nothing changed in past 4-5 years, or from the last renovation.

The location was great, the staff very helpful and professional, we have arrived at 3 PM, and allowed us to finalize the check-in & payment in the morning (but we did it then as we planned to wake-up very late), good food, 7 facilities, the 2 beds apartment we have rented was cosy, and enough for 2 parents, and 3 kids, will definitely come back.

The hotel is not perfect :), but I can't say that was something in particular we didn't like :). The time passed since the furniture was new can be seen, sometimes, but everything is very clean, so really no complaints!

We stayed in Green Life Resort in the middle of summer, meaning that our room was only 113BGN which is very reasonable for the quality of the hotel. Our room was modern and clean, the spa facilities are nice and the breakfast was very good - with a view of the mountains.

I imagine in the height of the ski season when the hotel is full, the spa facilities would be very busy as the indoor pool is quite small. Also, it's about a 10minute walk to the gondola and a 20minute walk to old Bansko.

We found the place very easily and had free parking for entire stay. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and (too) warm and the sleep quality was very good. We liked the furnishings, although we saw some signs of wear-out here and there - generally the impression was good. We enjoyed the half-board meals and appreciated the measures taken against Covid within hotel premises (we strongly recommend the half-board to all tourists, because all restaurants in the resort appear to be closed, and only few are making deliveries). The ski rental downstairs was really useful, we took the skis and went on with the shuttle bus to gondola every day (note: the bus would pick you up in other place than the drop-off). For lunch we ate outdoors, at the ski cabins, on the slopes (there are at least 3 places where you can buy food up on the mountain, payment by card). There is the option to go by car up on the mountains, if you want to avoid the gondola queues and for a faster ascend, and parking can be paid by card (this approach would save you some 40-60 minutes / day). Do not try to buy used ski cards from other tourists, these may come up as "used" and then blocked by gondola staff (as they make a photo of you when you first use the card, so you cannot pass it to someone else).

The place started to become crowded on Friday (but we left on Saturday, so we returned safely at home).

The room was comfortable and we have everything we need for our stay for 3 nights. There is small kitchen equipped, bathroom with great soap and shampoo ( spa flavour). The breakfast was great with a lot of choice, everyone can found something that he like .For the kids there is a rope park very nice for extra charge .

The outside Poole was very cold , but don’t worry we go into the inside pool and very enjoy ( but it was nice if the water will be more warm ) The room carpet was not clean .

Very friendly kind staff, they were so amazing they noticed I had forgotten my laptop. Such honest and good people, I cannot thank them enough for being utterly amazing. The hotel was so cosy, food was great, you must visit the spa as that was so lovely and my massage sessions were extremely good. This hotel is only just out of the main town (you can walk into town in 10 mins or get a taxi or a shuttle) and frankly I would kill myself If I had to stay in the centre of town. The town is really really busy, loud and full of 20 year olds skiing so if you want a nice calm evening and not feel like you are on a hen or stag or its freshers week at a uni....don't stay in the town. The hotel has everything you need. The rooms are clean, quiet and the sweet cleaning team come each day and change bedding so it stays all lovely and fresh. The reception were happy to get you anything you needed. We had such a great stay and the skiing was amazing and I will come back and stay there next year. I would highly recommend.

The only thing was some of the meals in the resturant in the evening were odd. Baked brie that is cold....this is odd and unheard off but we only ate their twice and preferred food in the town. The breakfast was very good.

- a good location if you rent a car - beautiful territory to walk around - cosy room (we booked a 2 room apartment)

- the same breakfast every day - bathroom: a very tiny bathroom with open shower and no curtain, so the water is splashing everywhere. No drawers to put things in the bathroom, no enough hooks to hang bathrobes / towels. - some of the stuff are not polite - water in the pool is cold - bathrobes were not changed during 7 days - one elevator for 5 stores hotel
