Comfort Inn & Suites Medicine Hat

The staff were wonderful and our room was quiet and very clean. The location was next to a mall and theatre which, if we were there longer, would have added to our entertainment. The location also was close to a few restaurants. All together this made for a great stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast area layout is quite tight, especially for the number of people trying to access it. It just requires patience. The food was good and the staff did their best to refill the dishes quickly. Tables were cleaned in a timely fashion.

The king suite was very spacious, clean and quiet. Bed very comfortable. Check in and check out were quick and easy. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall ambiance is modern, comfortable and clean.

Ice machine was turned off on our floor. No recycle bin in our room. The water pressure in the shower was extremely high darn near ripped your skin off. Other than events at the Coop Center, the location of this hotel is out of the way from most of the city and even being a king suite and all, the room was slightly overpriced. This area needs sidewalks, we had to walk on the road or on grass most of the way to the Co-op Center.

We had an issue with the room we were given because we requested a bath tub but it didn't have one. After talking to Owen for a few minutes, he ran around the whole hotel and together with his manager was able to accommodate our wishes, thank you Owen! The pool had a basketball net and random balls flying around and every single person in the pool, young and old, threw at least a couple and had a lot of fun, what a great idea! Breakfast had waffles, so super win for me. We had a great time there.

Not much really, the rooms weren't checked while we stayed there for 3 days and at certain times breakfast was much too busy for one person to handle and things ended up empty for a while. Also please get rid of single use plastics ;)

This is a fairly new facility, where a suite is literally a suite: two rooms, couches, a table, two large beds, and bathroom with plenty of counter space. The breakfast room opens out into a second room, with well-spaced tables. The beds are heavenly, and the television is much bigger than the 40 - or 42-inch variety in other hotels we stayed in on this trip. There are also two restaurants within easy walking-distance. And the swimming pool is located just off the reception room, guaranteeing peace and quiet for sleeping guests.

The laundry room is next door to reception. A laundry cart taking up most of the hallway space made it difficult in the morning to pass with luggage in tow. And the food containers in the breakfast room are crowded too close together, particularly in an era of Covid.

Arrived late mid-night and the front desk attendant, Darlene was so very, very nice to secure all our needs. It was an easy peasy checked-in. So accomodating and she wished us a restful good night. Location: very, very nice. Literally in-front of the mall, walking distance to Tim Hortons, Wendy's, Ihop and etc.. Comfort inn and suites is like a gem in the heart of Medicine Hat. Cleanliness, room space, breakfast, bed and pillows are all perfect.. Attendant in the breakfast was very nice and accomodating too. Good food and She's dis-infecting from time to time, the area is spotless clean. The finale (checked-out time): Shanoon was very helpful too and she secured that we were comfortable happy. GOODNESS! I can't wait to comeback soon..lovely place with sweet and helpful staffs.. God bless u all.

The hotel is situated 100 metres off the Trans Canada Hwy in a shopping mall area. The hotel is clean, neat and tidy. The staff were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to keep our 2 bikes in the conference room overnight. As well we were running on our car's spare tire because of a flat on the trans Cda. The staff allowed us a late checkout to 12:30 the next day since we had to get our tire replaced. Thank you! The room was a good size with fridge, microwave and a good hot shower. The hotel had a pool but we did not indulge ourselves with a swim. The breakfast was a full hot meal with many choices (bacon, eggs, waffles, hot drinks, cold drinks, pastries etc, etc). Overall we were very pleased with our stay. We had recently stayed at another Comfort Inn in Saskatchewan so we were leery about this hotel but no need to worry. You can't go wrong at this hotel.

My family and I stayed here for two days and we were impressed with the hotel, its facilities, and its staff. We had a family suite and the room was spacious and comfortable. Especially the beds, we were very impressed at how comfortable the beds were and how clean the room and the hotel was. The breakfast offerings were excellent and I appreciated that they were still being cautious and had staff serving customers. One of the nicest "budget" hotels that I have ever stayed in.

There was a tendency for smokers to hang around the entrance even with a dedicated space a bit further away. Not sure if anything could be done as people will be people. No complaints about the hotel itself or its staff.

Hot american breakfast. Decent enough for a good start to the day, with enough selection to meet most guests' tastes. Only thing I would recommend is to offer a non cheese egg item as well, even it is's just boiled eggs,. The pool and hot tub was fantastic, and the beds and showers are new and modern. Overall, I now have a new favorite place to stay in the Hat.

Aside from the lack of non-cheese egg items for breakfast (my wife cannot take any milk-items), everything was fine, comfortable and pleasant. I look forward to my next stay there.

I booked this hotel through bookings.com As I was booking got an upgrade. My room was supposed to be $138 and we received it for $84. Very friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Didn't use tv or pool because we got there late and headed out early the next day. Just needed somewhere to sleep. Breakfast was made fresh and hot. Waffle with strawberry sauce and whipping cream or eggs and hash browns with ham. ... I was surprised to see they even offered breakfast to-go bags for those that were in a hurry or didn't feel comfortable eating food in the public area. Fantastic experience!! Will be staying there again in future! Thanks!

Great location, we stayed in the suite and it was a nice big clean room. I love the sink outside of the washroom so handy. It’s right behind the Mall.. what more do I have to say when you bring a teenager along. Perfect!

The check process was a bit slow, we got there around 2:45pm and the room wasn’t ready. We had to leave and come back in hour. Make sure you put in for a early arrival so your room is ready. The breakfast was okay, they serve you which was kind of different. I guess if you don’t have the patience to wait Tim Hortons is right beside the hotel.
