Crown Columbia Hotel; BW Premier Collection

The hotel is stunning, our room was incredible. Every staff member was friendly and helpful - I’d stay here again and again.

The only downside was to get to an area my dog could go to the bathroom was down a alley and across a street, where a number of homeless and/or people struggling with addiction were congregated or sleeping on the benches. Absolutely nothing happened, there were RCMP around one time just keeping an eye on things. A little disconcerting, but nothing happened and this is totally beyond the hotel’s control. The property itself is lovely and lived up to the pictures online.

Adrian at the front desk July 25th 2023 was super kind and helped me out booking am extra night. The beds are so comfy. The kitchen is perfect. Couch and big tvs! And amazing view of the Zinc mine that over looks the town of Trail. I might just move here after this trip. Feeling inspired.

No blow dryer in my room. Couldn't figure out how to turn on my bedroom tv for 1st night as box as behind the TV

Everything was fresh, comfortable with luxurious bed, bedding, and towels. The room was so spacious with desk and sofa in sitting room plus a walk-in closet with 2 luggage racks. Good free parking. Close to the river walking path and several good restaurants.

Would gave liked to have glass tumblers in the room.

The heritage building has been extensively renovated, and my room was huge with tall ceilings. The bed was super comfy. Great staff.

My only concern was the City of Trail itself. It was a convenient driving distance from my previous night's accommodation. Trail is a mill town with the zinc and lead smelter smoke stacks dominating the skyline and the city has a rough feel to it. As a senior woman traveling on my own, I didn't feel comfortable taking my small dog for his evening walk. The City of Rossland (10 kms away) would have been a better choice for me.

In the heart of downtown Trail, right off the river and the river pathway, close to everything. Hotel looks newly renovated and everything seems new and clean. The room is well designed with a separation to living room and sleeping area. Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean. Our room had a nice view of the river and of Trail’s pedestrian bridge. All and all a very enjoyable stay.

The window coverings weren’t very effective and the street lights lite up the room. Some black out shades would’ve been nice.

The property is located centrally, has great parking . The hotel is very clean and has a nice gym, bar etc. While the hotel did not have a restaurant, discount vouchers were given to dining establishments located in very close proximity.

Beutifully renovated hotel and rooms. Rooms were so spacious and they accommodated us with our 85lbs Husky. Due to the new covid restrictions, they only had breakfast in a bag but it was enough to get us started. We had drinks at the launch while the kids were upstairs with the dog. The location is fabolous, next to the river walk.

When it poured rain and thundered as we were leaving a 30 min leaway on a late check out, or offer of an umbrella even would have been nice, but nothing just a smile as I was watched getting absolutely soaked trying to load my car alone struggling to get the cart out in the pouring rain.
