TownePlace Suites by Marriott West Kelowna

The view, the size and layout of the suite, the amenities of the suite, pretty much everything. We loved the suite and the hotel. We will stay again!

The included breakfast is disappointing. The waffles are good, the rest of the hot food is sub par. I know it's an included breakfast but we skipped it after the first day. The coffee is very good though and the juice for the little ones is good as well. We had one issue where the comforter and sheet were dirty on one of the beds but the staff quickly took care of it. We paid too much for our stay but that was an issue with Booking.com

Modern building with a limited restaurant/bar. Convenient/safe for a solo traveller. Lovely view from my room. Room had vinyl plank flooring, no carpets so a huge plus for me. Very modern decor, minimal but had all amenities in a tiny kitchen. Great use of space.

AC was extremely noisy. I have room ACs in my condo and know that ACs do not need to be SO noisy!! Bathroom sink very slow to drain. Going back out to the parking lot in the dark to put a parking pass in my car….why can’t a license plate at registration be enough?!

Our suite was spacious, modern and clean when we arrived. The hotel offered breakfast with the booking and it was well stocked and sufficient staff to support it.

They do not offer daily cleaning service for your room. At $500 per night, I think daily cleaning should be provided (change towels, remove garbage). The other concern is that the breakfast area doesn’t offer any way to separate recyclables or compostable from the garbage.

Pool is great. But is unusable if a life guard is not around. The life guard slept on a bench/looked at his phone during his life guarding duties, so really, not doing very much. The next morning, there was no life guard no duty, so we were unable to go for a morning swim. Even though the life guard in the evening didnt do much life guarding.

Easy check in, nice and clean, breakfast was great, good parking, staff were friendly, specially later in the restaurant/lounge area. Love the kitchen in our suite and the pancake maker in the restaurant area.

Only downside was a constant construction type noise. We tried to figure out where it was coming from. We think maybe on the roof above the pool? It kept me from sleeping.

The amount of space in both the sleeping are and washroom were perfect. The kitchenette had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and clean.

The AC kept shutting off in the middle of the night, it was a bit of a warm weekend, so the room lost its coolness quite a bit.

Breakfast was very good. We were impressed because this was their first weekend, and only a few days making breakfast. Some things ran out at times, but it was completely understandable. The room was beautiful and had everything we needed.

A secured bike room off the lobby would have been helpful, although we appreciated being able to take our bikes up to our room. Fresh fruit salad with the breakfast options would have been great, although I think the choices of items was good considering the pandemic. Shared items are probably not allowed. Maybe soon!

Hotel was clean, comfortable and roomy. The staff was friendly and professional, the person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable, rooms were quiet. The gym was clean with nice, new equipment. Hotel exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay here again!

Nothing, I liked it all!

The hotel and our room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was a generous size and very clean. The breakfast was very good with fruit, eggs, yogurt, bacon, pancake machine and much more.

Nothing, everything exceeded our expectations.

the hotel is very nice, rooms are new, clean and comphy. The breakfast is excellent. the security guard however made everyone uncomfortable. we had dinner in their lounge and he was almost standing at our table.
