We enjoyed walking around the lake and seeing the ducks and their babies and, of course, the cute covered bridge. It had a super green space with fun playground. We spent a couple of hours outside playing and grabbed a soccer ball, and welcomed kids to join in. Nice to have a place to stretch the legs after hours of driving..

When we arrived it took the first person a long time and she couldn't find our booking. She did say she was new.. She asked us to wait for her associate, who could help. He arrives and he cannot find our booking. I slide my phone over and show the booking confirmation number. He finds it saying it was for the previous day.. I panic as maybe I did mix up dates, but no, it was the venue that put us in for the wrong date.. our booking.com was for the date we showed up. My kids started to panic as it didn't appear they had any space. But they found us a room and it was nice. Thankful it turned out OK.

Excellent location and good facilities overall. The breakfast is offered and looked very good, but I don’t eat breakfast 😊

The room was frigid when I entered on the 2 occasions I stayed there. A total waste of energy and to boot, the remote control for the air conditioner did not seem to do anything to control the temperature. I had to turn off the air conditioner to let the room warm up. The box of Kleenex only had a few tissues left, so I had to use the roll of toilet paper instead. Not a big deal but annoying nevertheless considering the cost of cooling the room to such a level. The TV channels were mostly sports and news stations. Personal choice great for some people, but not for me.

The room was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. We were yravelling home from our vacation in Nova Scotia. We had a wonderful night of rest.

We booked this hotel partly because of the free breakfast. However when we arrived, there was a post stating that breakfast was not served until 7am. We needed to be on the road before 7am and were unable to have breakfast. Apparently, breakfast is served at 5am on weekdays only. We had to grab something on the road. We were disappointed. We had to spend more money than what we expected. The booking did not state the breakfast time. My past experience is breakfast is served 5 or 6am

Great value for money, it was a happy surprise. Very simple and basic, but very confortable for a short stay or for those like me that was just passing by for taking a rest before taking the road again. Breakfast was simple and basic, but good. Staff is bilingual if you do need assistance in english or french. Parking and wi-fi are available, besides the info that says otherwise.

There's no elevator, which might be an issue if you do have too much luggage.

We were thrilled with your hotel near Grand Falls. The ambience of the wood in the bldg. was reminiscent of visits to B.C. Your staff were extremely thoughtful of my husband (85) & myself (78) with carrying our luggage to & from the car. One of the staff (initial was J.) offered to mail a card to my niece in Ottawa, even said she would provide the stamp. Now, that is "Service with a Smile". Of course, I gave her the money for a stamp, as we really appreciated her offer. The pool & hot tub were very refreshing. The next morning, we were delighted with the choice offered for the inclusive breakfast. The menu was extensive, & so very delicious. Again, your staff was so helpful & assisted us. Thank you to whoever chooses your employees. They were wonderful & I have marked that we will want to stay there again as we often drive to PEI to visit my husband's family. Many thanks to all. We arrived to find out that I had made reservations for myself, my husband and our two granddaughters, for the previous night - therefore my night’s charge had been paid for but not used yet. In most situations I realize that I should have paid for another night’s stay. But thanks to the amazing Customer Service skills and understanding of Stacey at the Front Desk; and for the good fortune that there had been a recent cancelation we were given our one night accommodation at no additional cost to us. I cannot express enough how grateful e were to be treated like humans who make errors in booking online….Thank you Stacey - and to your reception staff who accommodated us in the best way!

My husband and I love the value and the hot breakfast buffet. We also love that there is an EV charger for those with EVs

That there was only 1 EV charger. We were hoping to charge our tesla overnight for our travels the next day but there was another car there that we were told had been plugged in all day and into the night. When we woke up to check out that car was still there charging. Maybe add more chargers.

Location and room were great and pet friendly ground level was perfect

The train that went by during the night. Had no idea a train was running let alone a few times at night. We had window open and it sounded like it was 2 feet away from building. Not end of the world but would have liked to have known before. I always bring ear plugs but the dogs were on high alert.

The bed was so comfortable, I want to buy one of the same make. However, I am still waiting for the answer to my question to the staff as to what make it was.

At one location ( I stayed at three) I had to enforce my request for the CAA discount. As I was travelling while phoning in my reservation, I could not confirm my CAA number but I did upon arrival. I did need to request it be applied again and the staff the next morning had to reissue my invoice because the night staff "didn't know how to do it".

Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good value. Close to the TransCanada and only a few km from town center. Great breakfast included, friendly staff, it is the second time I have stayed here.

A bit dated, but that didn't bother me, I was cozy and comfy. If I had to find something I didn't like, it would only be the shower curtain and smaller bathtub...minor stuff.
