Glynmill Inn

Beautiful property, well kept. Room was small, but clean.

Could do with an upgrade to the TV. It was small and the quality of picture was poor. We were not told by the front desk that housekeeping staff would not be doing a daily check on the room to see if glasses, etc. needed replacing. After waiting most of day we we found and asked a housekeeping staff member as-to why our room was not checked. We were informed that the room was only checked every two days. If we needed anything we had to call the front desk. Covid rules were mentioned. Would like to have been informed of this at check in.

This building in beautiful - it is very clean and as expected; it gives off a very historical "feel". The grounds were lovely, and there's a beautiful trail you can walk on every day (see picture). We didn't eat at the restaurant, but there's plenty of restaurants within a five minute walk - we went to a couple breweries (bootleg and boomstick - see picture of our fabulous bartender below). Rooms were clean an comfortable. Staff were excellent. It was SO nice and quiet. You can't even hear the traffic outside, even though you're relatively close to the roadway.

There really isn't much that we didn't like at all - the check in process was fast and easy. Perhaps having the menu for the meals each day in the room? Maybe adding hand lotion to the bathroom? I am really grasping at straws here trying to find something to improve (lol).

Location: easy access and close to all amenities and walking trails - extremely convenient. Meal service: great menus and quick service by friendly staff in main dining room. Also had an excellent meal in The Wine Cellar. Rooms comfortable well equipped/furnished.. Overall extremely satisfied.

Only note is that the facility is a little dated and looking "tired." Carpeting is stained and worn in main lobby and hallways, giving a somewhat dismal tone to an otherwise great experience.

I would have liked complimentary bottled water in the room. Generally, after long travel, water is welcome. As the goal is often to get straight to the hotel I often do not stop to pick it up as many hotels provide this service. The bathroom soap, shampoo, etc we good however a little more selection would go a long way.

The guest breakfast was delicious, as was the coffee. The rooms were spacious, light and clean with a nice view out the front of the inn. The beds were extremely comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows.

We were surprised there was no microwave in our room. We used the small fridge, but would have enjoyed having a microwave to heat up leftovers (from restaurant meals). Also, we liked having a Kuerig in the room, but wish daily refills of the packets had been provided, instead of asking for them at the front desk each day.

The look of the inn is gorgeous. You can tell it has history and character and it was fun to imagine what it would've been like through the decades! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable! We had been camping before that so having a nice hot shower, soft towels and a comfy bed to sleep on was a dream! The staff were so nice and helpful, I would definitely book here again!!

The room was big with a kitchenette and lots of closet space. The bed was very comfortable and the patio space was an added bonus. The two restaurants were great as well. Great food and service was amazing!!

Lots of construction and ongoing maintenance nearby so didn’t enjoy time on the patio.

Loved everything about this hotel. It's old, large and has a lot of character which we really liked. I wish we could have stayed a few more nights but we were on a tight schedule and we really loved staying at the Glynmill Inn.

Nothing that I can think of, our stay was very comfortable and really enjoyed the look of the Inn, the property grounds and restaurant.

The building is quite impressive , and our room was quiet and comfortable. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, which is beautiful and after dinner took a walk around the lake which was very pleasant. Good place to stay as we were passing through.,

Our room was located at the rear of the building, quite a hike from the main reception but there was a lift.

Beautiful 100 year old inn. We ended up staying 2 nights because of Fiona we wanted to stay put. Restaurant very reasonable and on site . Delicious breakfast for $8.99 and that includes coffee! Beds comfortable , water pressure fantastic, rooms are large . Missed having a microwave but we survived. Definitely would recommend this inn !
