Hotel St Paul

The hotel is esthetically pleasing inside and out. it gives off a really nice "old city" vibe. The location is terrific for folks who want to walk around and explore. Being in "Old Montreal" the area this hotel is located feels very European and there are lots of nice cafes/restaurants/bars. The service from the staff was very good and all of them were very freindly. They also were able to accommodate a late check-out time as our flight was delayed to later in the day on Sunday. We would definitely stay here again and plan to do so. Shoutout to Aymen at the front desk for his outstanding service.

The location was good. We were able to easily walk to the Basilica, Old Montreal and Old Port areas very easily.

The staff was lacking some manners and were not as helpful as they could have been when trying to get basic information about parking the car or getting around. The cleaning staff did not replace empty toilet paper rolls so that we had none in the room. Seemed like they just rushed through the room and didn't pay attention to basic needs.

Our room was so comfortable and the view exceptional. The bed was amazing, the bathtub was also and there was a huge amount of room for clothes, a bench for our suitcases. It was very quiet also in spite of being on a main street.

We had to wait for someone at the reception. There was no way to call them other than sort of yelling. It was a bit strange. The valet parking was somewhat organized but again inconsistent. We were never sure who had the keys to our car and the people at reception didn't either.

Excellent location and gorgeous hotel. The room was large and exceeded expectations. The decor is lovely and the connected bar is a wonderful meeting place before going to dinner and/or after a long day walking. The staff are helpful and kind. Can’t wait to return!

The sofa bed isn’t very comfortable, may just need adjusting.

very quiet. nice, modern facilities. close to the areas of our interests.

we were advised at check in that breakfast was served on the 2nd floor. no mention of a charge. we went for breakfast the first morning and the sign at the door indicated a continental breakfast. the sign also gave no indication of a charge. needless to say, we were mortified to be charged $30 each for having a pastry and a bowl of fruit salad!

The hotel itself is lovely, the staff are friendly and professional, and we appreciated the high ceilings and huge windows in our room.

Since Old Montreal is so busy in the summer, there was a lot of noise at night from the main street in front, even though we were on the side of the hotel and on the top floor.

Expensive, didn’t realise the booking price does not contain the taxes, which increase the end price by 12-15%. The price in Booking.com should show the very final price - foreigners do not know the particularities of Canadian charges.

The room was cute and clean. I loved the aesthetic! The staff was also very helpful and cooperative. They helped us when our car battery died and were very pleasant. The location was also pretty good and central, we walked around and explored the old city.

The breakfast served in the room could have been better. It was rather plain (croissant, a yoghurt and juice)

We were delighted with our room, which was spacious enough for three. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The hotel’s location in Old Montreal is excellent and within walking distance of historic places and lovely restauarants on nearby Rue St. Paul.

The TV could have had more channel options. There was nothing that caught our eyes from the selections provided.
