Breakfast was great! Extraordinary French toast. Loved the hotel's nearly 100-year history as reflected in articles published at the hotel's opening and framed in the lobby with headlines: "Hotel Laundry About Finest On Continent," "Heating System Most Elaborate" and "Devices Mrs. Regina Never Dreamed Of Are To Be Seen In Kitchens Of New Hotel". The manager graciously showed me the fascinating time piece "Prohibition Room". Barman and breakfast waitress were equally friendly and informative. A superbly storied and comfortable space.

Bathtub could use a rubber mat.

Great location close to everything I wanted. Staff were very nice. Very nice ambiance, furnishings etc. Lots of old classic charm. Added Bonus the Bombers were staying in the hotel! Go Blue!!

Bathroom was a bit tight. I had to take the toilet paper off the roll to reach it. Tried to get me to pay $20.00 per night to park in uncovered parking on the weekend when it is free to park on the street, seemed like a money grab for unsuspecting tourists and business people spending money that is not theirs.

Location, history, cleanliness, view, ease of using tv remote and thermostat, the dessert (chocolat tart) we had in the lobby (amazing!!)

lobby smell, too-loud music in the lobby. A big one was the unassertive staff during a fire alarm - they let people hang around inside the lobby, and when it was time for us to go back in, there wasn’t a loud & clear message to do so. In other words, the staff needed to be better trained and more assertive during that fire alarm episode.

The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff were all amazing, especially Debbie Basada.

The toilet paper! Such a nice hotel and at the high end of the price range, so I was expecting most things to be higher quality.

Lovely old hotel with even nicer staff. Housekeeping was great and Raegan went out of her way to do a lovely job. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly.

The renovation to the hotel already feels a bit dated and a little low budget considering it’s history and potential.

beautiful building always enjoy staying here. love the spa and the delightful breakfast!

the last 3 times we have stayed the hot tub is still not working. I think it would be in your best interest to invest in fixing this as it’s greatly missed.

Took my husband here for his birthday and it was the perfect experience! The hotel staff were incredible! They even left a little happy birthday treat in our room when we returned. It is so beautiful and has gorgeous old character than other modern hotels but is still kept clean and updated. We had appointments in the hotel Spa for massages and pedicure as well which were fantastic. There were 3 weddings happening in the hotel the night we stayed but you wouldn’t even know it because the sound doesn’t carry to the rooms. The bed is soooo comfortable we both had an amazing sleep. There is a little make up mirror in the bathroom as well which I personally loved.

Our only complaint is that the toilet is too close to the vanity which makes it really hard to sit on. Poor design setup, but a minimal reason not to return. Also, my husband really wanted to go to the Barbershop inside the hotel that was suppose to be open until 5pm but when we went at 3 they were closed already.

the coffee at the shop was good, the one on the room not so :)

The smell is the room and that the room was dusty, probably not prepared for check in because we upgraded at check in, in such case reception should get the room checked at first.

The hotel is a beautiful grand lady. The service staff are very friendly.

The breakfast dining room use to be grand and appropriate for the hotel. It seems they have tried to make it more casual but they missed the mark. Staff was excellent though!!

It was lovely - staff were very helpful, warm and friendly. The room worked well. We stayed in a suite as we had to work on the road. It had all the character of an older hotel that we enjoy. the coffee shop in the foyer was a great perk for us.
