Hotel Cabo De Hornos

The neighborhood and the hotel stay were both lovely. I regretted only staying for one night and definitely want to come back. Location: The neighborhood where the hotel is situated is safe and beautiful, with plenty of charming and friendly restaurants, cafes, and bars within walking distance. The fact that they operate from early morning till late at night is great, and it's also a safe area at night. Facilities: The hotel has been newly remodeled, making it clean, pleasant, and attractive. The hot water works well, and there's nothing to complain about. The bedding is also very comfortable. Staff: Everything went smoothly, and the staff were friendly yet professional. Breakfast: Perfect breakfast. The ham and cheese are well-stocked, and the scrambled eggs and fruits are especially delicious

We were very impressed with the hotel. We only spent one night and didn't have the opportunity to eat at the retaurnant but were very satisfied. I would definetly recommend the hotel and would stay there again if we ever went back to Punta Arena.

We got a corner room in an upper floor and the view was magnificent. The room was tatesfully decorated and clean. The hotel was in the center of town in front of a beautiful park and you could walk everwhere with ease.

The location of the Hotel is very central and very convenient. The reception was very nice to us. We were checked-in though it was only 11 a.m. whereas normally check in time is 3 p.m. No questions asked because they had a free room. so that was really nice as we were tired from the early morning trip. Thank you.

I think for a Hotel this standard there should be at least tissues in the bathroom. A little mix up happened with the boiled eggs at breakfast. Some eggs were still fresh. With two of the three eggs I suddenly had yoke between my fingers. Though not tragic (I just went to wash my hands) these kind of situations are not funny for everyone.

Very chic bar and restaurant area downstairs, newly renovated, lovely bathroom with good large showerhead and hot water. Breakfast was nice with a good selection. Central location right on the plaza.

A little bit pricey for the room itself, but makes up for it with great location and beautiful lobby area and good bathroom.

Looks like it was recently renewed and looks up-to-date. Great lobby area, and breakfast/dinner area, very nicely laid out. Staff is supernice. Very good breakfast. Excellent dinner buffet with nice Valentine's day attention. Room was very comfortable, good beds. We stayed an extra night because we liked the hotel very much.

The common areas and included breakfasts were fantastic. Very friendly nad helpful staff. Dinner was delicious, and was priced just a touch higher than comparable local restaurants. I stayed in two rooms, both of which were very comfortable.

Parking for rental cars was very limited, and was dependent on local traffic withing 2-3 blocks from the hotel.

The location was excellent. Service was amazing. Breakfast was delicious. The front desk was available at all hours. We had early tours and late night arrivals and there was always someone to speak with.

We were in 810 and 811 on the top floor with ocean views. The windows were small, but they told us that would be the case. The room was large and well equipped with a small sitting area. Staff were all very helpful and all front desk staff spoke English. They were also knowledgeable about the COVID requirements for guests leaving Chile and did print out our documents and negative tests. The breakfast was plentiful. Room service was quick, affordable and tasty.

There was a large group headed to Antartica that prevented us from having dinner or cocktails in the dining room on Sunday night. The same group had to return and were again given preference over the regular guests. I understand we need to all be flexible during these difficult times but not being able to use the facilities seemed a bit silly.

The location was great right on the main square in Punta Arenas. The room was fine and very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The restaurant in general was good with some vegetarian options.

There was quite a bit of noise from illegal street racing at 2 am - 3 am in the morning. Of course, this is out of the control of the hotel. Would also have been nice to have a bar area with a TV showing the World Cup games.

Great breakfast. Small fitness room with bike, treadmill and elliptical and some weights. I had a room on the 8th floor which was nice. Warning; at first I had a room facing the main street. If you are sensitive to noise, do not get a room facing the street. The traffic noise is very loud.
