Ibis Budget Itagui

Located next to the main train station, budget friendly and the most amazing staff! The guys at the front desk are all fantastic,,, serious enough to make u think twice before asking a silly question but once they open their mouth and hearts all u feel is a warm embrace and welcome greetings. Very helpful and accommodating of our poor planning needs during a busy time in the city such as the fashion and textiles weeks. I believe one of the names was Andres and the other was the front desk guy, the following morning!

Lack of coffee maker in the room!

The buffet is great, better than the ibis Budget Bogota, lots of fresh fruits and delicious food. Staff was attentive and kind. Location is AMAZING. Close to a Mall and best of all the Metro. Will recommend everyone to stay here.

The beds are not the softest but at the end of the day I just wanted somewhere safe to stay and I was tired all the time so it really didnt matter.

The rooms are super quiet and have a nice view. The room is small, but totally fine for a night or two. There is a coffee shop, bakery and drug store together in the building.

The check-in was too slow. We had to wait around 20-30 minutes to check-in, and our check-in took another 5-10 minutes. Not a deal breaker, but definitely not expected in a Hotel that should have their processes all ironed out.

Breakfast was good simple but good, the breakfast room was free after breakfast time, and you could use it for work, sit down and read, is a nice and cozy room, the staff is great and friendly, the rooms are clean and the location is pretty close to the Metro. there's no other hotel in Medellin that offers that cost/value, this was about my 4th stay at Ibis Budget

The kitchen could benefit guests a bit more by restocking a little faster, I had to wait a long time for cheese and ham and in the end, I gave up. The pillows could be a little better, Somehow AC doesn't cool enough and I felt a bit hot during midnight at some point. It happened in all my stays, the bathroom's glass door could be adjusted so it closes tight and water doesn't leak everywhere.

Location was good, very close to Metro station and mall, good restaurants and movies inside mall. Breakfast was good.

Rooms are too small, no place for clothes, not enough room for parking, rate was overpriced. All the rooms are the same size, no way to improve nothing. Dark room, tiny bathroom. After taking a shower, bathroom floor was with water everywhere. Beds are too small, I will not come back to this place.

I stayed here two nights and was very impressed with the facilities. The rooms are small but very nicely decorated, with plenty of electrical outlets, a nice window with room darkening curtains, lighting you can customize, and a really nice bathroom with plenty of hot water. I have stayed in hotels all over Medellin, since I live near there, and this was one of my favorites. When you arrive it seems to be located in the middle of nowhere, but it is just a 10 minute walk to Centro Comercial Mayorca, which has more than everything you could want. Walking to Mayorca is made very easy with raised walk bridges which go from the hotel right to the mall, so it is easy and safe, no crossing traffic necessary. The lobby is super nice and you can buy odds and ends there, but it is super pricey. Wifi was strong, and the bed was super comfortable. I could certainly spend a lot of time there. Also there is a panaderia and coffee shop on the first floor of the building just as you exit the lobby of the hotel, so you can easily relax outside and sit and relax there.

Everything was just about right, not much to improve on.

Great location and convenience to transportation and shopping. The staff is amazing, hospitable, and courteous in providing great customer satisfaction.

There’s plenty of room for a little more shelving for personal storage not much will make it a little bit more convenient. The cleaning staff should check the soap apparatus to ensure there’s plenty of soap before new guess arrive.

Everything is okay the only problem was room for my husband was little bit smaller because is a 6’7 guy

Bed and is not microwave and fridge in the room and when your are diabetic you need to maintain the insulin in a fridge

Was very close to Itagui Metro close to the busstop and close to Majorca Mall all on walking distance the area was very safe to walk around the staff off the hotel was very friendly and helpfull

The breakfast was good but would like that they have more option to choose from

location, how clean the hotel was, staff very friendly and willing to help. breakfast was very good, Love that it was quite despite being located in a busy street. the price was affordable. good hotel.

no closet. this was a downer for me. thank God I was by myself in the room and didn't have a lot of luggage. Also i didn't have a table in my room. a small fridge would of have been nice.
