Foresta Hotel

Firstly I want to say Sebastian is the best!! He was so helpful & friendly throughout our stay, we were only due to stay a couple of nights but ended up staying for 4. He greeted us every evening with a smile & a nice chat and always made sure the coffee pot was full :) Location was good! I know a few people moaned about this but we personally liked that it was out of the chaos and really green/ surrounded by trees. It's a 20minute walk down to all the bars and restaurants. 10 min walk to supermarket Carulla. 35min walk to Pablado metro station. We like walking so didn't mind it at all, but if you don't like walking it's easy/ cheap to catch a bus down/ up the hill costing 2850 pesos (if I remember correctly). It's up a hill so again we didn't mind this but if you can't do hills, catch a bus or taxi for a cheap price. Breakfast was good, pancakes or arepas with scrambled eggs, with fresh fruit & toast available. Good showers and really appreciated the hot water after spending the previous week in San Andres with no hot water. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing. Maybe a little wardrobe/ space for luggage but can't fault anything.

Breakfast not all day wasn't so nice. It was a little bit poor. Not all day. Ladies in the kitchen take too long to serve you something. Some day isn't enough people working in the kitchen and thats why it take long and breakfast not nice.

Clean, spacious room with a huge bed! This is a nice hotel but at the top of a big hill from Poblado main strip! Hiking home from a night out is not for the faint hearted! Better to spend a couple of thousand pesos on a taxi.

Not much to say...TV was Claro only, so no YouTube or Netflix when chilling after a day out. But that's not why you go on holiday!

The staff is great and very accommodating! The hotel is also really clean. The supportive and helpful staff makes this hotel desirable.

The beds are stiff and very uncomfortable. The mattress is far too firm and unsupportive. The owner should invest in better quality mattresses or mattress toppers.

The whole experience was perfect. From the staff to the delicious breakfast offered by the facility, and the clean and neat rooms was my weakness from the place (the simplicity of the rooms, also, the entire place has flowers all over, including the halls). The neighborhood was a perfect place for long walks and everything felt so clean (the streets, the air, the environment in general). I feel bad that we only stayed for 2 nights and not more than that, because it's so worth it. But we will definitely come back. :)

Although a small hotel, it has all the amenities you need to be confortable. The staff was very nice and helpful and breakfast was provided every day. No issues with the internet. The hotel is walking distance from La Calle 10.

There must be stricter rules for noisy and unruly guests.

I liked the property. However, I do not think is right for Booking to display a total charge for room/night without adding taxes. It seems that the total price per room ins actually cheaper and that is not fair.

Front desk staff behaviour and response was excellent. I will single out Luis for his cooperation and assistance.

Towels, linen could have been newer and better. Breakfast spread could have been better.

A comfy little hotel a bit removed from downtown Medellín. Our room was clean and well kept. Very friendly staff who also gave recommendations about food, shopping and nightlife.
