Amphora Hotel & Suites

Excellent location,opposite the hotel several cafes,pubs,an excellent restaurant ("Rimini"),a supermarket an more.About a km to the promenade of Paphos port.The hotel itself,is clean,aesthetic,excellent service,a very varied and excellent breakfast,very spacious rooms,balcony facing the sea.For those who come with a rented car,a large number of parking spaces.

Just a curiosity,for those coming from Israel, you should take into account that the sockets for electrical appliances are not suitable for plugs from Israel.You can buy an adapter at the hotel reception or in the supermarket across the street,for 2.5 EUR each.

Great location, great breakfast, lovely comfortable beds , good size rooms , nice views . Happy with beach towel rotation, good idea every 2 days .

We don’t always have our room serviced as it’s not necessary. When we do , the towels where not replaced with clean ones and tea /coffee/milk not topped up once over the week . It would have been nice to have a couple of English speaking channels on tv as other hotels do . The iron was badly burnt, but this was replaced promptly.

Stayed here for our honeymoon. One of the best places we stayed, really amazed by it. Very good location. Rooms very nice and clean, also very quiet during the night. Not many kids around, perfect for full week relax, close to the water and promenade. Variety of tasty food, all the staff very kind, friendly and polite.

One of the safeguards at the swimming pool was very rude to people (skinny, younger one). Walking around like he owned the place, shouting at the womens from the I guess Muslim religione, whenever they were approaching swimming pool with the clothes on. Very discriminating and disgusting in front of all the guests.. Running around the place checking if people don't move mattresses from one lounges to others, reprimanding guests for nothing. On the othe hand 2nd safeguards he was very kind and calm and talkative, such a difference..

The family room is very comfortable and spacious. Clean, nice. Good value for money. Great view . The breakfast and the service during it were great.

The service and the flexibility at the front desk was mediocre . For example we want to book a room for extra night and I was told that there is a minimum 2 nights stay which is simply not true . I simply booked on booking and not thru the hotel. Or we asked for a late check put for fee, and were told that there are no available rooms, but there were several on booking. So... not very service oriented hotel.

We loved the location and the choices the hotel made. There was no live entertainment of any sort which we absolutely loved. The bar was beautiful (right by the beach),but with a distance to the rooms which meant that no guests were disturbed by any noise if they wanted to sleep. The breakfast was also lovely and the rooms had a beautiful sea view and were very comfortable and spacious. Also, we liked the aspect that towels could only be changed every second day (it is very environmentally friendly and we loved that). We would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a great stay.

The only minor detail that could be improved is the sun-beds in the garden area. It would be nice if they could be exchanged for something a bit more comfortable, but honestly, this is the tiniest detail and not important.

Great hotel, friendly staff and very helpful.

Breakfast started at 8 am which I think is a little late for those that are doing day tours or just want to eat early. I also used the transfer for €120 from the hotel to LCA airport, which is a great service however the driver was extremely tired and was falling asleep at the wheel which frightened me. I tried to keep him occupied with conversation to keep him awake. I could see him and his eyes in the mirror and his eyes were shutting and very heavy. I would not recommend the service in case you get him. The garden in my courtyard was dead.

The hotel’s location is mind blowing. It’s located right across the boulevard and the sea. However, what sets this hotel apart is the modern apartments that all have a great seaside view. The apartments face the courtyard that has a swimming pool, a bar and a large grass field with lots of tanning beds. What we really liked about the courtyard, is the fact that it was very spacious thus there were always more than enough tanning beds available and they were set apart quite far. You can take the boulevard towards the harbour, which is a 20 minute walk. On your way you cross a lot of nice restaurants to spend the evening. Though, there are some great restaurants close by (5 minute walks), such as Suite 48 (great cocktails and comfort food) and Ficardo (lovely cuisine with a stunning garden terrace). Amphora is worth every penny!

The room could’ve been quieter.

The hotel has a great location with promenade and wonderful garden. There is a little beach located 2minutes walk thru the hotel's garden, the beach does not have sunbeds, but few meters along with the promenade there are beaches with sunbeds. If you rent a car, you can park in the hotel's area for free (I recommend to visit also the other parts of the island - Larnaca, Ayia Napa, Capo Greco, etc). At pool bar near to the swimming pool you can get free towels. The rooms are with sea view, simple but nice with utilities such as hairdryer, comestics (shampoo, soap, shower gel, etc), kettle with tea and coffee, minibar fridge (unfilled), safe, towels and slippers. The rooms are being cleaned each day. We booked the room with breakfast option, it was very good. The personal was very helpful and kind. Regarding the free shuttle from Paphos airport, you will need to book the transfer at least 48 hours prior to arrival in order to arrange the transfer - the link should be provided by hotel after you leave a message to them.

We had a two bedroom apartment. Location is excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant Manager was particularly friendly and wonderful with our 5 year old granddaughter. Rooms are large, bathrooms good. Breakfast choice and food .was very good.

Saunas were not in use and indoor pool closed at 4.30, a time you expect to be able to use them, especially in winter.

This hotel is absolutely everything you need for a good vacation!!! Where should I start? At first our flight landed early in the morning, the hotel arranged our transfer and when we got there we knew the check in was at 14:00 like every other hotel, and we were ready to go to the beach at meantime but they prepared a room for us and checked us immediately, and also let us to have breakfast witch was really kind. The staff is awesome and really good professionals! The hotel itself is perfectly located at the beachfront of Paphos, walking distance to the port and central part of the city, great sun beds near the pool and on the grass facing the sea. The room is equipped with everything you need, super clean with stunning sea view, with beautiful terrace. The pool is clean the pool bar great. When we were leaving again early in the morning they had prepared breakfast for us, which was super kind, it’s pretty uncommon for a hotel to think about leaving guests. It was a great stay from day 1, we loved it and we hope to come back. We loved Amphora resort and Paphos and hope to be back again.

Everything was perfect totally recommend it !!!
