Hilton Colon Guayaquil Hotel

Traditional Hilton hotel with all the amenities you might expect from a venue that operates under this brand. Very good breakfast selection a large buffet with many options. Large and fully soundproof room with access to the executive Lounge which offers nice daily happy hour with excellent munchies. Also the gym is very good, large and fully stocked with Lifefitness equipment. Large pool where you can swim laps

The location is not very good, it’s surrounded by busy streets and you are advised not to walk outside due to the large insecurity in Guayaquil, so we had to take a taxi to go to the Mall del Sol which is a four minutes ride, you would normally walk to this place

This hotel is amazing. There is a pool, whirlpool, and spa with wonderful services on site. Rooms were big and the bed was supper comfortable. I could have slept there the whole weekend. Also, the food in the restaurants was really good. Finally, the shuttle picked me up from the airport. This was complementary. Despite being delayed two hours getting through passport control and customs, the gentleman was waiting for me as promised. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The pool area the best with the kids. All the services at the pool (food, drinks). This is the best spot of the hotel, like a little resort in the middle of the busy city. Rooms were all clean and beds were very comfortable. Buffet breakfast included in price was good.

The smells in the bedrooms floors, looks like may need more maintenance in the rooms halls, as it is a old hotel. The shower also was a little uncomfortable because water will always splash outside the shower cabin and all the floor got wet. The rest good, bedrooms always clean and towel service was helpful.

The rooms and pool area are super comfortable. Cleanness was a differential (especially with COVID concerns). Except for the front desk, the staff was always friendly and helpful. William and Kevin from the concierge helped me a lot and were very attentive to my needs - William scheduled a driver to take me to a meeting without even asking! I was amazed! The clean team also excellent, especially Mrs. Shirley Rosales, who made me feel at home with her kindness and attention. And, finally, Mrs. Alexandra from the pool bar, always polite and careful with the service.

Except for Ricardo and Diego, that were always helpful and super polite, the front desk team was an issue. The team was a bit impatient and rude.

Hotel is beautiful with a very nice location

Its my second time and I dont know why if you book on booking.com they send you to rooms with not a good view ( left side look to the back of the hotel ) I requested on the two previous bookings to have a room with a view and they dosent matter they send you to the same side . No nice.

Airport pickup worked perfectly. Quality of accommodation met expectations. Breakfast is very good. Good air-conditioning.

Everything was organized and clean, the hospitality was great too.

When I did the reservation I had asked for two queen sized beds instead, I received two full sized beds. I wasn’t properly accommodated with that.

The rooms are all clean and bright. The beds are fantastic and firm. The shower pressure was also very good.

The floors are all some kind of tile....rugs in some areas would probably be harder to clean, but make it warmer.

Queensize beds are too small for 2 persons. Sauna was out of order
