Sheraton Guayaquil

It was a quick stay. We only spent a few hours between flights and it was OK . Needs to be refreshed.. The beds were comfortable enough . The cleanliness was OK too. Value for money was good . reception 24 hours is great

The potential issues with the narco traffickers and the violence that people talk about . This is not the kind of travel and situation we expect when going to a foreign country . just a bit concerning to having heavy armour guard at the door but we were told that the narco people are involved in violence, racket, crime as well . Just a shame to live in such a world.

- very friendly staff with excellent service - best breakfast I've ever seen - transport to the airport was free of charge (because of problems with our flight, we had to drive to the airport twice). - the pool is located on the 3rd floor and we liked the pool and the view very much

- it was not possible to close the cupboard in our room completely. In the cupboard was an automatic light which turned on during movement. We don't know why but it turned on quite often during the evening, which was a bit loud.

The staff is very professional and friendly! The room was exceptional; the restaurants are very good plus they have a walkway to the mall! The hotel is close to the airport and provides a shuttle or a safe taxi service.

I was disappointed that my coffee maker did not work as I had to get up prior to the restaurant opening for an early flight!

The hotel was clean and very close to the airport.

The rodozio restaurant was underwhelming to say the least. The meat was bland and service at the restaurant needed attention. The staff seated us when they were trying to cleanup for the night when they should have told us they were getting ready to close. I would not recommend the rodizio restaurant but the hotel and hotel staff were great.

It’s location because of the mall across the street. They have a great breakfast. They offer shuttle service from the airport.

We booked a room with 2 queen size beds and were extremely disappointed that they were double size beds. They claimed they were queen beds but not so! We had been traveling for 2 months and had just arrived from a 15 hour flight so we were exhausted and wanted a queen bed. They apologized but that was all. We were not happy and will never stay there again.

The room was very comfortable (bed bed ever at an Ecuador hotel) and the breakfast was to die for. The location could not possibly be more convenient. It is minutes from the airport and directly across the street from the enormous Mall del Sol, with an elevated crosswalk from the hotel over to the mall.

Not a thing - The Sheraton was a remarkably comfortable oasis in Guayaquil, a huge port city which can be a little overwhelming to an uninitiated tourist.

distance to the airport was convenient and was only chosen because of this not for the industrial area, complimentary airport shuttle both ways at own selected time, fridge in the room, ability to adjust the temperature, nice bathroom, comfy bed! A few restaurants and shopping mall nearby!

Pool was cold, jacuzzi was cold too!? pool area not attractive next to the car park. Shopping mall only opens at 10am, which doesn’t suit earlier fliers!

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable. The food quality at their restaurant was very good and the amenities were excellent. Nice size pool, 2 hot tubs, wet and dry saunas, and nice size gym with a massage area. 24 hour room service, and food and drinks can be ordered and served poolside.

The room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay after 15 hours of international travel. The Staff were some of the most courteous and helpful I've experienced. Great Breakfast!!

The lobby was dark when I arrived, albeit was after midnight but was a little disconcerting at first. The front desk, however was good and the receptionist was wonderful.
