Hotel Canal Aigues Mortes

People at the reception were very kind and helpful. They allowed us to use the swimming pool after checking out while we were waiting for our train. They offered us the same when we arrived before check-in time. Having swimming pool there was great. Breakfasts offered huge range of pastries, fruit and other meals. Coffee from the machine was excellent. After 8 p.m. you could have free bottle of water from the fridge. You can also use microwave and kettle in the hotel's lobby.

While rooms were air conditioned, one couldn't really say. More power just made more noise.

Quite a generous breakfast offer, with outdoor seating under the grape vines. Quiet location to the back of the hotel (not so sure about the rooms facing the street). Nicely located along the canal outside of the Citadelle. Very friendly staff.

The pool is quite small and the rooftop location is actually only on the 1st floor. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room, or water provided during the day.

Very helpful staff, multilingual and took an interest in what you were going to do and advised accordingly. Superb breakfast choice available. A ten minute walk into town along the canalside. Ample free parking , close to supermarkets and petrol. A great find, highly recommended.

Nothing worth putting down in writing. We stayed four nights, no complaints about the hotel or its facilities, food or comfort. Its a great stay, get it booked, its in a lovely town too.

We stayed in the family room and really enjoyed the fact of having two separate rooms. We also loved the location right by the canal - so charming and bucolic, and really a few minutes walk away from the center (even with young kids). Finally, we really loved the breakfast, with a great assortment of sweet and savory options and good quality products.

From the outside the building/hotel doesn't look as nice as it actually is once you come in.

Great position, helpfulnesses of staff, good value breakfast and we had a lovely room overlooking the canal which we paid extra for. Swimming pool was warm and plenty of loungers available. We arrived early and were able to park the car at the hotel and walk into the medieval city in less than 10 minutes.

Some wear and tear particularly in the bathroom. No lift but we did know this and the receptionist carried all our luggage up for us!!!

Breakfast was excellent. Location great. A perfect stop for cycle tourism. Arrangements for hot and cold drinks at night were very welcome.

Check in was a little slow and I don't like having to pay for everything before I have even seen the room, although this is fairly common practice.

As we were driving parking was important and the location only about 10 mins walk from the walled down was excellent. We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel met our expectations. We went for a cruise on the canals which passed a very hot afternoon.

While not the fault or within the control of the hotel the weather and the flies associated with the very high temperatures (high 30 degrees C) were an issue.

Very well located, just outside of Aigues Mortes, within a walking distance to the center, with easy access by car and plenty of parking places. Several restaurants closeby. Our room was clean and comfortable. Swimming pool made our days in the heatwave enjoyable. Breakfast at the cute terrasse has added an extra "holiday" feel to our stay.

The hotel is well located, only 7 to 8 minutes walk, along the canal, to the city walls. It is easy to reach by car and there is plenty of free parking available on hotel grounds. The room is rather small but nicely decorated. Both persons at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful and gave us indications not only for the city but also for other interesting places to visit in the region.

We had a warm welcome on arrival, very helpful and friendly. The location was great and plenty of room for parking. Lovely breakfast and it was very pleasant to eat out on the terrace. We would definately recommend this hotel.

All was great but maybe Tea/coffee facilities in the room would be a bonus.
