La Villa Mazarin

I really liked the facilities available - gym, pool, hot-tub...gorgeous dining room and bar area! The location was perfect!

What could be slightly better is have plastic glasses for wines by the hot-tub.I am grateful that the bar staff made an effort to find something, but if a large group of people book a stay here, it would be nice to enjoy drinking in the hot-tub. Room number 7 could have been quieter at night - bathroom extractor fan goes on all night and there is nowhere to switch it off. I didn't say anything because I was only there for 2 nights. The room was incredibly beautiful which made up for everything!

La Villa Mazarin is in a beautiful setting with genuine old world charm. Our room was spacious and CLEAN with a super comfy bed. The bathroom was fabulous! Outside our room was a sitting area over looking a garden patio area with a fountain flowing into a goldfish pond. The staff was gracious and helpful. It would be difficult to top the location. You are in a walled town with shops and restaurants within easy strolling distance. There seems to be something beautiful around every corner. Right by the hotel is a path that leads to a board walk that goes along the water offering stunning views.

Driving in this little walled town is a bit tricky. The streets are quite narrow and when we arrived, there was no place to pull off the street in front of the hotel. It would be helpful to have more information about arriving by car.

Amazing staff from the beginning, beautiful hotel with beautiful facilities. Drinks and were perfect. The cocktails were also great, beautiful 'Last Word' one of my favorite drinks that was made right as apposed to some of the butchery I've tasted on the Riviera. Room was spacious and very comfortable, bathroom was great as well, really good size and the bath was very nice. Spa also great. Overall a beautiful hotel in a beautiful location with fantastic staff. We will be back.

The charming location, the villa-style look and feel, the excellent room, the late night availability of swimming pool and spa, the practical parking in a "difficult" town. It all breathes high quality.

Somehow reaching the room, especially when it rains hard, doesn't have the comfort you'd expect from a 5 star hotel. We had our feet deep in water to get around the garden. Breakfast price is ok for the class of hotel, but I'd expect more of a house-made breakfast or artisanal sourced stuff, instead of a composition of industrial products, even if good quality ones. The swimming pool and the spa would benefit of a warmer, more relaxating touch, regarding colors, lights and music volume in the hot tub.

We were very pleased with our stay at Villa Mazarin. The location is superb, in the centre of the old town, but in a quiet street, underground parking is available. The room was large and comfortable. We would go back to it any time. We could not eat at the hotel because the restaurant was closed on that day, but the breakfast was nice, although a bit old fashioned as everything had to be ordered. We prefer a buffet style breakfast.

See above (i.e. breakfast). Also, it would be helpful if it was noted somewhere that parking has to be prebooked. There is limited space available.

The stylish hotel is beautiful and all staff were incredibly attentive, helpful and kind. Our bedroom suite was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The large bed was comfortable, (probably could have done with 2 extra pillows). we were grateful to have air condition in the room because it was rather warm! Breakfast was excellent, ample of choice! And so were the few dinners that we had. The location itself is excellent, a few minutes walk to the centre and it was a bonus to be able to unload our luggage at the front door and put our car in the hotel car park around the corner. Even though there seems to be plenty of car park just outside the remparts as well, at at end of the street.

the only negative was the wifi, which continuesly seemed to drop out every 10 minutes or so and each time we had to put the code in again. This made it a bit tricky for us to make phone calls overseas.

Helpfull friendly staff, not too pushy or overwhelming. Breakfast happy surprise, served at the table including typical French petit dejeuner but also delicious scrambled eggs, bacon (without fat!!), chia porridge in coconut milk with fruit coulis, etc etc fresh and healthy, you could order your own choice, good coffee, enough of it without asking a refill.

There is an inside pool and spa open until 12pm. Looked very nice. I did not bring my swimming suit and they did not have "an emergency solution" which would have been much appreciated. In general everything was very clean but unfortunately I found many very long black hairs on the floor of the lovely beige bathroom.

Even more beautiful than the photos! We stayed for one night on an impromptu trip to the Camargue. The restaurant was exceptional — we are pescetarian/vegetarians and they had options for us which they pointed out; cocktails were a delight. The room we were in looked far more luxe than the photos suggest. Roomy, as was the bathroom. Clarins products, turn-down service, a carefully chosen mini bar, an easy to access garage... it made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The courtyard is beautiful, as is the rest of the hotel. We would have stayed another night if the trip allowed it.

Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Good location within the remparts of the old town. High quality facilities and really great staff. The room was spacious with a large bathroom. It was easily accessible for the wheelchair. (Room 18). The Clarins toiletries were a bonus. The bar was well stocked!

The location inside the walled town, the beautiful hotel and fittings and furnishings and the exceptional staff were amazing. Loved that I could park underneath the hotel and that it had a unique garden and beautiful pool. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful with directions.
