VILLA MADY

I would like to thank Laurence and Benoit for their welcoming attitude (and Onix! Their dog) for making us feel like at home. Madame Laurence was also very helpful suggesting places of special interest and how to reach them providing plans, time-tables and also phoning to get precious information. The room and the house are simply gorgeous, historic and recently renovated with a fine design. Last but not the least, Breakfast was divine, different specialties every day, and Madame Laurence cooks a delicious English breakfast too!

Niente

Villa Mady is a very spacious property in a great location. We did not expect it to be so roomy inside. Our room on the first floor was very welcoming and we had a spacious bathroom with a great shower and complimentary toiletries. The house is in a great location, very peaceful but just a few minutes walk into the centre of Andernos so you don't need to worry about parking or someone having to drive. The secure parking was a huge bonus as it is at a premium in this area. Our hosts were lovely and made a great effort to tell us about the local area even though our French was terrible. We must apologise for that! They even loaned us some binoculars when we went to climb Dune de Pilat which was very kind of them. Breakfast was outstanding, lots of choice and all beautifully presented. I would recommend this property. We were glad we chose Andernos les Bains rather than the busier Arcachon as it is more relaxed.

Nothing - everything was lovely.

Location was incredible. We were in the sea (when it was high tide) in literally 20 steps! We had a sea view from our room. Breakfast was wonderful, all homemade and very attentive and kind service. Our room was spotless and beautifully furnished. There’s secure parking onsite and many activities offered that we didn’t have the chance to do. Would highly recommend.

Amazing B&B, best ever : beautiful, newly decorated house with all modern comfort, with excellent and beautiful materials. Beautiful garden and garden furniture, too, with seaview. Laurence and Benoit were EXTREMELY nice, helpful and pleasant - a real home away from home. Breakfast in the beautiful breakfast room was absolutely delicious ! We HIGHLY recommend this B&B to everyone !!!

The bicycles we could use for free, were of poor quality. NOTHING else

We enjoyed our stay very much. The owners were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was beautifully set up for our stay with ample space, a beautiful balcony to enjoy the garden view. Breakfast was particularly good with lots to choose from. The freshly baked sweet treats along with the freshly squeezed orange juice was a very welcome addition.

Our hosts were exceptionally gracious and went out of there way to be helpful even though there was a bit of a language barrier, The breakfast was probably the best we have had in France so far!

We should have stayed longer. I think we were lucky to get the reservation. It was out of season and it was still relatively full.

Wonderful house near waterfront. Big room with full of light incl. all amenities. Breakfast home made and all special wishes/needs were taken into account in an amazing way! Lovely mainly French speaking owners live in the building and were always available for advice. Parking was sufficiently big.

2 nights was too short stay there, next time will stay longer.
