ibis Styles Beaulieu sur Mer

I must admit when I came out of the station my heart sank! If is not a beauty and I panicked! But what the hotel lacks in charm it makes up in functionality and being pristine clean! Luxury usually comes at great cost in the South of France. This hotel has high comfort and views at reasonable cost! We were given room 501 with the most GORGEOUS view of the Cap du Ferrat! We couldn’t believe our luck, we did not pay extra. The room was extremely comfortable and spotless clean. Extra pillows were provided. The French do not have breakfast and we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. One day we went into the town centre and had pastries there - it is not something they do. The location is AMAZING! 30 seconds from station 1 minute from Super U (buy yummy treats for the balcony view) 5 mins from the Plage - buy beach parasol and towels from the supermarket and be like the French! Aircon wasn’t the best - wasn’t quite cold enough but great when you came in. Honestly this is a very cheap hotel for the area and is extremely good value with that in mind and a universe better than lots of bad AirBnB! Highly recommend!

Exterior Air con

Very good location, near a big supermarket, railway and bus station, beach, the hotel is really in the mid of the village. Very helpful staff, modern, renovated rooms, with comfortable bathroom, fridge. Parking garage very comfortable, even for my big mini bus. For breakfast good breads, croissant. Surprise freshly squeezed orange juice, good coffee.

The building from outside, the corridors inside, old, not too attractive structures. The rail is a little bit noisy. But these are not influencing the value of the stay, and mostly external conditions.

The hotel has a very friendly vibe in general. We liked the staff, our room which had a nice balcony with sea view, the breakfast and or course the cool jungle vibes all around. They had free snacks at the reception :) the night before we slept in Nice in another Ibis styles hotel, and could highly recommend this chain as it is great value for money!

There was no bathroom door, there was only one door between the hall and the bedroom and the bathroom is just at the entrance. It didn’t bother us too much though.

Close to town centre, good location for restaurants/beach/shops. Opposite train station and bus stop so good public transport. Ubers averaged about 15 minutes away at all times and reasonably priced. Room was very clean and bed was super comfy.

Being really picky I would say breakfast was a continental which was ok, but I felt like the choice wasn't great. Lots of uneaten pastries etc but only 3 types of cereal (2 chocolate) which seemed a waste.

All the facilities we needed, comfortable and nice sized room, lovely breakfast put on at times that suited us and allowance for a late check in.

Found that the edging around the shower didn't keep all the water away from the rest of the floor, couldn't find how to put the extractor fan on and there was a black stain on the ceiling above the shower.

Convenient situation After breakfast, they put out food that would otherwise be thrown away for customers to eat during the day if they wished. Also tea/coffee throughout the day.

A bit noisy because of building work on the nearby railway station.

Food was good excellent choice and was put on the counter Buffet style to help yourself drinks avaiavaiable any time bar service reasonably price

Would have liked me English breakfast tea to be available at breakfast

Clean, big breakfast, very professional staff, close to train station, supermarket, restaurants and beaches. The room was very comfortable and we had a balcony, with sea view.

Maybe a little to pricey but i think it was worth it.

The room size was adequate and the view from both of our rooms was amazing plus the location couldn't be more perfect since the train station, the bus station and the supermarket was a stone throw away. We liked the receptionists and the kind greetings from all of them.

Aircon wasn't working good.

Breakfast inclusion was great, staff were exceptionally helpful with so many things throughout the stay. Loved staying here, I even extended my trip a few days. Location is perfect. I had lower expectations as it was an Ibis, but this was truly a lovely stay. Thanks so much!
