Check in is automatic & painful. I did everything right but the code didnt work. After a long drive, stress is not what you want! I had to phone reception & the receptionist came & let us in so the fact that she was there all the time means we could have had a personal check in. The lady at breakfast was v nice, we only wanted coffee so she gave it us for free. Good aircon & great shower

Great stay, room was clean, breakfast was good. A lot better than I expected for a so called budget hotel. The lovely lady on reception was very helpful in the morning with my terrible French I was wanting to know where there was a post box, when I struggled to explain I showed her the letter I wanted to post and she offered to post it for me.

there was an embarrasing mix-up with the reservation - on a busy day before Ascension day. the room we were allocated was already occupied. the replacement room we were then given was again occupied. But the staff dealt with it eventually, and remained courteous and apologetic - and offered us a free breakfast.

Clean and a comfortable bed

Book to have breakfast, but was told on arrival that thus was not possible with me having my dog with me. No provision for someone with a dog. Not entirely sure if i was still charged for the breakfast even though I did not have it.

Great location for stop an hour from) to Eurotunnel. Easy to find, great parking and lots of eating places and supermarkets within walking distance. Surprised by size of room for 'budget' and super clean and freshly decorated. No kettle but drinks and snacks machine available Staff really friendly. Will visit again.

We have stayed before, Ideal situation for an overnight stop off. Always clean, very practical and good value. Good to be able to have the dog with us.

Having to walk through a load of workmen smoking in the doorway, as non smokers it was not pleasant but also difficult with bags and dog. Our room was just above this area and when a group of people were there it was rather noisy.

basic as expected, exceptionally clean and convenient checkin/checkout. Mc Donald’s next door and supermarkets/fuel are too. not on my sat nav.. but still easy to find

With a pet the receptionist kindly allocated a larger (wheelchair friendly) room. So plenty of space. Very comfy bed Handy McDonald's next door

Clean and functional. Comfortable beds. Easy to use out of hours check in. Lovely and helpful staff members (we had not noticed you had to book the breakfast the night before but staff members were very accommodating). Perfect for short stay.

Found checking in slightly confusing but we were very late getting there so no one on reception
