Best Western Hotel Du Roy D'Aragon

The room was at the rear of the hotel but was very quite. the location of the hotel overlooks the harbour also a nice option is that breakfast can be enjoyed with a clear view of the harbour. The hotel was very clean, the staff that I interacted with were extremely helpful and polite, furthermore the bought breakfast was extremely filling. We travelled from Sardinia by ferry and the hotel is an easy walk from the ferry terminal. The following days departure was by scheduled coach service which an even closer walk to the departure area.

Although the hotel is listed with Booking.com, a quick check - when we checked - showed that the room would have been cheaper using the Best Western website. It is a very expensive area and accommodation is limited

Wonderful, best location for main town, near restaurants, bus station only 600 metres away. People around late at night, nice area to be in. Good staff and helpful, eg secured me a driver taxi to go north, taxis are limited in Corsica. Room was relatively new , lovely view and breeze from opening out balcony door, the harbour . Near to the boats to Lavezzi & ferries. And quiet, slept very well and comfortably. Cleaning and room servicing was outstanding. Breakfast buffet superb. I arrived very early from France, before 8am and they have an excellent luggage room, locked, with plenty of storage space. They then let me have a coffee from the breakfast area as I only had had few hours sleep. Then I explored Bonafacio until I could check in later in the day. Above all- was excellent and glad I stayed here.

Nothing really. They even have a little bar. Everything was good and staff helpful and professional. Room was excellent.

Hotel position was fantastic. Right in the heart of the quay so very vibrant, numerous choices of restaurants and bars. Short walk to historic hilltop village. We had a quayside view so very lively at night but hotels windows were completely soundproofed. Room was modern and nicely furnished and bathroom with walk in shower was exceptional. Brilliant hotel and staff delightful and so helpful

It would have been nice to have had a lounge with bar in hotel although it had a quayside terrace, it was for public use.

Very friendly and accomodating staff in a hotel by the beutiful harbour. Within waking distance of the ferry terminal, the bus stop, restaurants and major sites. We really appreciated being able to leave our bags before the 16h check in time.

We took a standard room with a courtyard view which really meant an internal light well that also functioned as a sound conduit. Each night we were woken several times by people talking on their mobile phones with the sound echoing up the light well.

Fabulous hotel - we stayed in a family room (two separate rooms within one room) overlooking the harbour. Excellent location with restaurants, small shops and small spar supermarket just outside. Air con was brilliant and very refreshing! Free parking provided by the hotel but not on site, which was a bonus given how costly it is to park in Bonifacio. Boat tours to Iles de Lavezzi depart from right outside the hotel. Excellent hotel, which we would highly recommend.

Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Location near ferry terminal was good, with many restaurants available along the nearby waterfront. We were allowed to leave our baggage in a secure room before check-in and after check-out on the following day. This was very convenient for us. Receptionist also kindly booked a taxi for us with an English-speaking driver/owner.

Our room on the fourth floor was very small and cramped. Being in Bonifacio, where space was limited anyway, this was quite understandable! It had a balcony that looked out on the rear of the hotel where the busy main road ran up to the old town. It was quite noisy. The window was triple glazed but it was necessary to leave it open at night as the air conditioning was not very efficient at providing fresh air t othe room.

Great location in the lively harbour area of Bonifacio, within walking distance to the beautiful old town, and close to shops and restaurants. Well designed and very clean room, with beautiful harbour view from the window. Comfortable bed, well functioning air conditioning and really good rain shower.

Most (if not all) tourists in Bonifacio are there on beach vacation, but there is no place or equipment to dry our wet towels or clothes. This one is not a complaint, but more a wish: would be great if the hotel has a pool and balcony also in family rooms

Centrally located near the Citadelle, all restaurants and shop. Nice big room with king bed. Pillows small and super confortable . Nice big shower. Very clean and functional. Free parking . You have to go to the nearest public parking, free for first hour than once checked in you get a card for free parking in another location not too far. Nice breakfast at hotel for a fees.

We had a corner room with windows that opened to the rear and side so light and airy. Closed windows kept the noise out. Storage room was a bonus as we arrived early and check in was 4pm. Laundromat one side of the hotel and Spar supermarket the other side. Friendly receptionist and bar staff.

Breakfast price too high for us.

A great location within easy walking distance from the ferry terminal. Our room had a lovely view overlooking the harbour.

The room was small but to be expected. There was food from a previous occupant left in the fridge. The hairdryer did not work for more than a minute.
