Hôtel A Madonetta

The room was modern, very clean and just pleasant! The bed was wide and very comfortable with nice bedding. There was a little fridge/mini bar in the room and the shower was great after a day going around Bonifacio. You coulkd take a bath as well. Good airconditioning with many possible settings like a quiet sleep mode. Little balcony which invites to sit a moment and relax. The hotel has parking spaces in front of the hotel and there is even a small parking garage. With 2 chargers for electric cars! Only at short walking distance there is a relatively large supermarket and even the walk to the Bonifacio harbor is only a few hundred meters. The location of the hotel is good and we really liked the place.

The receptionist was super friedly but why do people in a tourist place like Bonifacio only speak French? I don't get it... My wife does speaks a little French and we managed but still: English is the language which enable communication with many more nationalities. Detail: No internet in 2022?

The hotel is only about 100m from the center of town. It was a good starting point for either walking the town or heading off by car to other locations in Corsica. Parking is in the hotel garage. Breakfast was good but expensive. I think the next time we will just look for a bakery someplace. The reception could only speak limited English so I needed to communicate by hand and feet signs and VERY broken french. Our room was simple but sufficient for our needs. Was able to dry clothing on the terrace - which was facing the street, but since it was summer and we had the air-conditioning on, we did not notice street noise. A take away pizza place and a grocery store is within 50m of the hotel.

The location is a couple of blocks from the wharf restaurants and shops which gave us a quieter place to come back to at the end if the day. I value my sleep and was so happy to not have bar or traffic noise keeping me up at night. There was only some minor noise from the room above as they moved furniture and walked around their room but that quieted down by bed time and my family slept very well here. We stayed in a family suite which was very spacious. The ability to park on site was so convenient and saved us time each morning as we headed out for our daily adventure.

We liked the rooms and how much space there was. The breakfast and staff were really nice too. The parking was well kept and there were many spaces available. There was also a charging station for electric vehicles.

There were only two chairs with the outside table and we were a family of four.

Very nice hotel at 5 minutes walk from the beautiful harbour in Bonifacio. We arrived much to early but the staff quickly arranged a nice room for us. Nicely decorated rooms with balcony. Good breakfast with a lot to choose from. Free car parking. Great stay for a weekend at Bonifacio.

The room was clean, big and as pictured. The terrace was nice to dry the beach towels and bathing suits. The location of the hotel is perfect to explore Bonifaccio and it was the main reason why we booked the hotel. It is really just a 3 min walk to the port and then from there you can go up to the old town. The parking (garage places in the hotel building) is for free, which is nice to have in Bonifaccio.

The bathroom could be better but it was ok for a short stay. The hotel staff, especially a lady which did the check in was not really nice, no hello or welcoming when arriving at the hotel and we had to wait for her coming down to the reception about 5-10min when arriving (we rang the bell 3 times....). The check out was better but still, not the friendliest.

The rooms were very spacious and well equipped, the bathroom was superseded from the bathroom. The air conditioner worked, the WiFi was working without issues and the location was very close to the harbour and 15min by foot to the fortress.

The parking space was a little tight and there were not a lot of spaces in total. The staff was friendly but did not speak English or little English.

Comfortable modern hotel in good location near to the harbour. Ten minute walk to the steps up to the upper town. Easy to find by car and free garage parking. Good breakfast. Good place to stay in Bonifacio, which is well worth a visit.

Position is just outside of Bonifacio Room was simple but sufficient for a short stay

Parking is free but you can't book it, so it can be that you leave with your can and you don't have your spot anymore. The bathroom has a shower but no attachment, which makes showering cumbersome

Everything was very clean and tidy. All the furnishings and fitting were in good condition. Nothing broken or worn out. Breakfast was excellent.

Bed was a bit to firm and the overall feel of the hotel was a slightly clinical.
