Hôtel de Sèze & Spa Bordeaux Centre

This is our second visit , the hotel is very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful at all times. Good central location. The Spa is very nice and the staff were welcoming.

Breakfast buffet was not replenished at 10.00am, limited choice, no fresh bread & scrambled eggs were cold, no bread to toast. In the room only one teabag of each type provided ( total of 3) for 2 people & milk would be a good idea. Again it wasn’t replenished sufficiently . NB. We didn’t realise when we booked the Spa for an hour that other people would be using it? This should be made clear and mentioned when booking the time slots , not everyone is comfortable with sharing a sauna/ jacuzzi ….especially after Covid.

Clean, the a/c was excellent over the hot summer days), staff was very helpful. When we had to leave at 4 am they made sure we had coffee and breakfast and that a cab would be there when we needed it.

We booked our room late and it was August, so we must have had one of the last rooms, which was really small and barely had space for us and 2 suitcases. But even so, we’re glad we switched our accommodation here from a guest house because of the a/c and helpful front desk staff, and location. It’s a lovely property. I think the croissants could be better though.

This is our umpteen stay at Hotel de Seze and as usual it lived up to its wonderful high standards. After a small issue with a full ashtray on our balcony, which although and I must stress was NOT a problem the staff and hotel were extremely apologetic and the matter was resolved in an instant. Then to our absolute surprise that same evening we received a large glass of champagne on our arrival back at the hotel from our dinner. Then the following morning we were informed by the lovely Sara on the front desk that we were being given a complimentary hotel breakfast. Wow, wow, wow!! This is how customer service should be, well done to all the team at Hotel de Seze, we will be back. All the best, Chris & Debbie x

A very smart boutique hotel in the centre of Bordeaux on a tree-lined square. The location couldn't be better - right round the corner from Quinconces, a major interchange for trams and buses (also a tree-lined square). Easy walking distance to virtually everywhere you want to go. If you don't want to walk, use the tram - it is ridiculously good value for money. The staff are friendly and professional. The room was immaculately clean, every day, and very spacious (we had a de luxe room). Breakfast has an excellent range of choices. The atmosphere is calm and cosmopolitan. Will definitely go back.

A sachet of Nescafe instant coffee in the room in a hotel of this high quality- seriously?

An excellent location, close enough to walk to everything with easy access to the tram. All of our interactions with the staff whether in reception or at breakfast were great, a really friendly and helpful team. Our rooms on the second floor were very comfortable and nicely presented. Breakfast was good, as mentioned the team were great and they offered fresh orange juice, bread and a good buffet selection. We didn't have an opportunity to use the Spa facilities. We were lucky to have great weather so the outside seating area was a real sun trap in the late afternoon after a long day sight seeing.

Not a biggie, but a coffee machine in the room would have been great as opposed to a kettle.

We loved the location, the staff, and the hotel itself. Centrally located in the Bordeaux City Center just steps away from the action. We especially enjoyed the location because it’s a couple blocks down from the busiest street in front of the opera house. The hotel was quiet at night and felt private but still so close to all the action. The staff were all great and catered nicely to us as US tourists whose French language skills left much to be desired. Aldo was especially helpful in making us feel welcome, giving us directions of the best places to see and eat, and providing service above and beyond what we experienced anywhere else in France. Aldo is a gem and is alone worth the price of admission! The hotel was very clean and extremely comfortable. Towel warmers in the bathroom were a nice touch. The bed was super comfortable and hardly any city noise penetrates the room once the windows are closed. We both agreed the included breakfast was worth getting with an impressive spread of warm food, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, fresh juice, and more. The morning staff had your coffee ready by the time you picked out your food. The hotel has umbrellas for guests to use for free, which came in handy more than once during our March stay. 10/10 would recommend this property for travelers.

Paid parking is in a below ground deck across the street. If this is the only complaint, you know the hotel was fantastic!

The location of the hotel is perfect and very convenient with the public parking right next to it. The restaurant, bar and breakfast are really qualitative and the staff is caring. Despite the fast that the rooms are small, they are well equipped and organized

The rooms are small... It would be great to benefit from a special rate in the parking (directly charged by the hotel). Spa seemed nice but was always busy as we did not booked in advance... Gym is too small and equipment could be more modern/qualitative.

A very stylish hotel in a fantasic location for sightseeing with friendly staff. As a female solo traveller I felt safe walking to and from the hotel at night due to it's location. The bedroom was lovely; I chose a small double for myself which was beautifully decorated, comfortable and perfect for a weekend away with ample wardrobe space. I would 100% stay here again and recommend.

Hard to be critical, but, my room had a view of an intenal courtyard, so I would recommend requesting a room with a view if this would bother you. Also, there was no wine in the minibar, which is of course not the end of the world, but I would have liked the option of enjoying a glass of wine in my room. But, I'm splitting hairs - this place is lovely!

Great location, nicely renovated room, comfortable stay with very friendly staff. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The ground floor Café staff could be more friendly in general. They could be more at hotel guests service. The first day, I arrived at 2:28pm, they told me they close at 2:30pm so do not wish to serve the food as the kitchen is about or already closed. What a shame. The Café is located in the hotel....

This is one of the best hotels in the centre of Bordeaux. It is within walking distance from all restaurants, bars and old town centre. I loved the decor of the room and the library downstairs. The hotel design is very smart indeed. Also I especially note the service. Everybody was so welcoming, any request was treated with attention and without any delay. In fact I loved staying in this hotel so much that I decided to extend my stay for another 3 nights. Brilliant experience. Top service. I am very happy with my experience in Hotel de Seze.

I can not criticise anything in this hotel. Chic style and outstanding service
