ibis Bourg en Bresse

Very friendly and very helpful staff. Nice, easy breakfast. Nice seating area outside which was helpful as the weather was very hot while were there. Good to be able to have a drink at the bar as other bars and restaurants were a bit further away. Good location for main routes outside Bourg en press

Room was a bit small, not much room to walk round the bed but very clean and comfortable. Otherwise everything was just right

It has everything one expect from an ibis hotel. Clean, comfortable with a nice restaurant. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We travelled with a 2-month old baby and we felt very comfortable in our room. The parking is great. We would definitely stay there again. I only have a small suggestion. Our baby is allergic to cow milk so I cannot drink any while breastfeeding. It would be nice to offer an alternative milk for breakfast (soy, oat or anything else).

The hotel room was exceptionally clean. We arrived late and the restaurant was closed, however we were able to get a beer from the bar which was very welcome after a long day of driving. We had breakfast included which was great too

Room was just as you’d expect from an ibis. All great. This place really excelled on the staff- we were having difficulty getting a covid test booked as we needed it to continue our journey on in to Italy and every pharmacy I telephoned to inquire couldn’t speak English! The lady at the desk in the morning was wonderful, helped us find a place for the test and made a lot of phone calls on our behalf (in French of course). I wish I knew her name to mention it here but unfortunately I don’t.

Have stayed at this location a few times now, its ideal for pubs/restaurants. They were adding additional parking spaces but have not done anything to the outside of the building which is looking slightly dated now, otherwise good value with a good breakfast

Good clean budget hotel convenient to A40 motorway. Stopped on way back from skiing in French Alps and was a good place to stay for the night. Restaurant was closed but there were multiple alternatives within a 5-10 minute walk.

Perfect for an overnighter on way up or down thru France!

That all the petrol stations in the area seem to be closed down! Nothing to do with the hotel, but it’s odd. So if you are thinking of filling up, do it before you leave the A40

It is a haven after travelling 600 miles from Roscoff

We are finding the evening meal food regrettably very poor €15 for a unpleasant chicken burger and €13 for a salad we really hope a new menu with taste your food one day

The staff were very friendly, accommodating our dietary issues , moving furniture so our party could sit together in the restaurant even though we were late arriving, putting the rugby match on the restaurant TV for us to watch when asked.
