Cit'Hotel Le Logis De Brou

I was there under sad circumstances and the staff were so accomodating, especially Camille on reception. I was going through a lot and her kindness made me cry infront of her! She was lovely. I stayed in two different rooms. One had a great 80s vibe, the other was more modern. I loved them both. Probably favouring the 80s one, stylistically. I hope they don't update that one. The wifi wasn't working when I was there - but I'm sure that's only temporary. 10 mins walk to the town centre and you're right next to the monastry and Typewriter (yes-it's real!) museum. I'd stay here again.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and quiet. We had the ‘express’ breakfast which was an excellent alternative and suited us as we only take a light breakfast. The hotel offered parking on the premises and was a fifteen minute or so walk into the centre of town. It was also very close to the Abbaye de Bru which you really shouldn’t miss. The staff were very helpful, so there was really nothing to fault. We loved the hotel and would stay there again if we were in the region. We recommend it without any reservations.

perfect stopover on our trip from UK to Italy. they offer a secure garage (11Euro) we had bicycles with us - so this was great. They accept dogs (8euro per dog) which was also great for us! the room was super clean with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was very new and the shower was superb. The location is easy to find and a short walk to the old town (25 mins). We were really impressed with this hotel, the friendly staff and the way it suited our requirements (bikes and dogs) - I have no hesitation in recommending.

Absolutely fantastic receptionist, she very clearly described the things in the hotel and even provided kettle because we felt sick and wanted to make tea by ourselves. Room was quiet as requested, comfortable parking. I like the thing that it's small business run hotel - much much better service and quality in every aspects. Great value for money.

It is a really comfortable hotel, conveniently located close to the town centre. The staff is very polite and friendly (despite small communication issues). The breakfast was great.

The reception staff could communicate in English quite well but every time they spoke to me, they did it in French, even though I told them I do not understand a word. They only switched to English when explicitly told again and again that I do not understand them.

Comfort room: Comfortable mattress, gorgeous shower, room big enough, good renovation and furniture, balcony. The lobby and common areas are renovated and look nice. The workers are very kind. Well located in the city with the easy access. Car parking very convenient available. Dog fee:8€/night

There is a road with heavy traffic outside, may result little noisy. The dog fee is not announced on booking. Only mentioned that dogs are permitted.

Loved our stay in this excellent hotel with delightful staff. Scrupulously clean room with very comfortable bed. Lots of shelves and hooks in the bathroom. Great to have a balcony too. Wonderful breakfast... Everything so beautifully presented and very tasty.

Long walk back from town if you get lost as we did!! Handrail on front steps would be a good addition.

Convenient parking. The rooms were modern, generous in size, newly redecorated and had great air con. Close to the Monasterie and some nice restaurants. Rooms were very clean.

The breakfast was average and the dining room uninviting.

We did not have breakfast as we dined far too well at a restaurant 5 mins away ( one of the reasons we chose this hotel was the proximity). The receptionist was super and speaks English. The room was very clean, bathroom very modern, absolutely nothing to complain about and we will happily book there again.

Excellent location for Brou Royal Monastery. Did not have breakfast at the hotel.

Free parking was advertised on web but was not available when we reached the hotel at 6 pm. Had to pay for garage space at the hotel which was Euros 11.
