Cerise Carcassonne Sud

The size of the room was huge and we enjoyed a swim in the pool. Also the location was excellent.

I was travelling with a friend but it was assumed we were a couple and we had to ask for bedding for the other single bed. This was dealt with promptly.

Close to the old city (5mins walk) very large carpark, this hotel is functional & convenient with friendly reception staff. The apartment was large and well equipped The ground floor has access to a grass area, accessible via French doors from the lounge and also the bedroom, which was convenient for the dogs.

The sofa was really thinly padded and uncomfortable, & the wifi was poor. You have to dispose of your own trash into a bin outside the gates, which was a little inconvenient having to go back to wash your hands after vacating the room but not really a problem.

Lovely swimming pool and steam room. Friendly and helpful staff. Secure parking with access by code after certain hours.Location excellent for supermarkets, fuel and tourist sites ( only 10 minute walk from the Citadel) Breakfast available as an extra. Air con... very useful as it was so hot.

Some of the crockery was missing.....I should have requested replacements as I am sure the staff would have provided them.

Very close to the old City of Carcassone (5 mins walk). We could even see the Castle from the balcony. The apartments were very safe, as there is a fence around the whole complex. Friendly people working there and you can buy some drinks at the reception. Apartment was clean and the sofa bed was more comfortable then expected. A/C was very important and was working very well in the living room. In the sleeping room, there is no A/C, so it's a bit warmer there.....

The pool (only indoor) is not best. Rather small for so many apartments, water not clear, only 2 of 6 showers working, everything a bit old.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would like to thank a staff member who dropped us to the airport, when we were unable to book a taxi. He went above and beyond. Bus out front to town centre( 15 mins walking) Old town about 10 mins walking on back road and uphill. Pool and steam room lovely and relaxing.

Bar in the hotel closed at 8.30 , along with reception. Quiet complex.

Great location to study the Mediavel Carcassonne Castle. A 6 minute walk away from the hotel. With a local bus stop at the castle entrance providing a direct route to the train station which cost one Euro - Bus No4. Large spacious and clean apartment. Pre ordered food for the first night, and it was very nice. It had been placed in my room already prior to arrival. Just needed heating up. Well equipped kitchenette and working utensils. The Artwork pictures on the walls in the apartment were beautiful! Had a breakfast buffet which was very nice. Wide selection of breads and cold meats and cheeses. Especially liked the option to boil your own eggs. Speciality coffees and a wide range of teas also available. Indoor heated pool was a bonus! All the reception staff had good communication in English and were very helpful.

Had to reduce my stay by 2 nights due to bad weather approaching so unfortunately lost out but this wasn't the hotel's fault to be fair.

There was plenty of choice for breakfast. Excellent location for both cities. Excellent facility of an heated indoor poor and a steam room. Having a large balcony with the room was handy. Staff were helpful with everything, even let us leave our bags there after we check out, so we could explore more.

Rooms could do with a refresh. Mattress was hard for our liking.

It comes with a kitchen in the room. Room is spacious and there is a backdoor leads to the garden so we can have our dinner by the grass. It's 5 minute drive to a very big shopping mall with a big supermarket so something different can be done after visiting the old town.

the furniture could be a bit dated - it's not an big issue as I am visiting with my elderly mom and she has no complaint.

accommodation is exactly as it says, 1 bedroom m, 1 bathroom, shower room and kitchen.. excellent location for what we needed. it was right beside the castle, the staff were amazing, I would highly recommend if you are looking for accommodation minus the luxury

very well located, 10-15 minutes from the cité and a lot of good restaurants, very nice staff who upgraded me in a one bedroom apartment with a big and lovely balcony. it was quiet and the breakfast was varied and good. there is plenty of recommendations for the respect of the environment which is a good point.

it was not very hot in the flat, impossible to increase the temperature, the lighting was not very qualitative and there is no light in the corridor when you want to open/close the door (you need to go near the elevator for it to detect you).
