The jacuzzi on the terrace was a real plus to have in the cold winter after all that walking in town. It's long enough for a couple to stretch their legs completely. We received clementines and cannelé in our room upon arrival too. At first we thought that breakfast was a bit expensive, but it turns out that it really was very copious (we didn't realise you could choose not to check several boxes, so we checked them all...). So just be careful of this if you order in-room breakfast and don't want to waste food! The bread basket is massive!

There's nothing around the hotel so be prepared to drive to a restaurant if you're not eating at the hotel one.

Warm, welcoming and helpful staff upon arrival, tasty culinary welcome gifts (a Madeleine and drinks), large and beautifully decorated room, high class ambience.

The view from the room basically was down to a driveway/parking place and into a bush. The location was relatively far away from the Cité (ca. 25-30 minutes walk to reach the city limits). Keep in mind that the hotel's restaurant is not open on certain days (and don't opt for the alternative "Brasserie de 4 temps" - not recommended). The staff upon exit was somewhat more reserved than the one we encountered upon arrival.

We stayed here as a well located base for our trip to Carcassonne. 7 min walk up to castle area.Dinner at the restaurant (2 star Michelin) is a once in a lifetime memorable experience (the tasting menu). A joy & a thrill. Everything from food, service, room, every detail to perfection. Bedroom was large, stylish & comfortable, terrace, nespresso machine, welcome drink, fruit & small bites. Bikes available free of charge to explore Carcassonne. Gardens, great breakfast, top class staff.

this is a restaurant (2 Michelin stars) with rooms so as such no usual hotel facilities (bar / lounge etc) We were aware of this but other visitors may not be - no restaurants in the immediate area. cute is 10 minutes walk (up hill) / or the town 25 minutes away The brasserie in town owned by the same group (Brasserie a 4 temps) was excellent

Our room was comfortable, stylish and very clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located with a manageable (if steep!) walk up to the old city.

Breakfast was good but I didn't like the fact that you had to fill out a form every evening saying what you want for breakfast the following day. My only other small gripe is that I didn't think the pillows were very comfortable.

Hotel at the restaurant. The restaurant is primary - haute cuisine, an excellent option for dinner. The wine list is excellent. The hotel itself is very small - 6 rooms. Colourful, link to restaurant shown everywhere, 1970 Michelin Guides, chef awards. perfect for a one night stop while passing by. The only thing - do not forget to order breakfast in the evening, otherwise it will be extremely scarce.

The suite with jacuzi was truely excellent, super clean, our room was well ahead of expectations and the staff stood out as very attentive, and wanted to make our stay as important as possible. The small things mattered. Our anniversary stay here was exceptional and memorable.

Not much to say here! Although the restaurant was delightful and the sampling menu was extensive, it was long at 3 hours as we were tired but the gastronomic experience is so worth doing.

Room was exactly as described - lovely touch on arrival with treats and bedtime snacks with turndown service. Staff were very helpful throughout. Highly recommended.

Would have liked to sample the restaurant but the prices were too steep for us!

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left was superb. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Room was very clean with good quality linen and amenities. Plenty of wonderful products to use too. Terrace to our room was furnished with lovely out door loungers and chairs. Parking on site was very safe and secure. Would highly recommend.

Small, lovely, situated in a neighborhood in Carcassonne, France. I booked last minute through Booking.com and this gracious hotel had a mid-week room at deep discount. wonderful experience at this 4 star Michelin property!

a bedside USB phone charger/extra charger plug-in would be great. everything else was perfect!
