Ô Pervenches

Great location 15 minutes walk from town straight into the countryside, woken up by birdsong rather than cars. Les charmettes, home of Rousseau next door. The new owners are very enthusiastic, helpful and charming and speak great English and have a great team working with them. Huge bonus is safe parking which none of the hotels in town could offer. Great stop off for travelling up to the mountains. Not forgetting the great restaurant !

We had very pleasant room with quite a nice view out of the front of the hotel. We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant and were very impressed with the standard of the food, high quality ingredients, very fresh and beautifully cooked - definitely a gastro hotel. Breakfast was also very good and the staff and owners were all very pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived on a Tuesday, late morning which meant we had to wait until after 5pm to get into our room as they do not open to guests until then on Tuesdays, which we had not noticed when we booked. It would be an improvement if guests could check in earlier in the afternoon!

The restaurant dinner was the best of our road trip - excellent, everything cooked to perfection, by a proper chef. The location was enchanting - drinking a cool beer after a long drive on the terrace surrounded by trees & views of the mountains. Later dining alfresco in this picturesque setting. Staff were really helpful especially tolerating my naive french, rather than just replying in english. Much appreciated. Visited Chambery after breakfast - lovely historic town - not too touristy

Just outside Chambery but peaceful and rural. Staff were charming and went the extra mile - directed us, upon departure to the cheapest tankful of fuel that we found crossing Western Europe? Easy car parking within sight of your room.

Restaurant standard (menu/service etc.) did not live up to the quality of the hotel.

Location outside of Chambery was fantastic. Very peaceful, no traffic, only the hoots of owls.......a short distance to town, but nice to be away from it all. Breakfasts were simple, but nice, food was great.

we loved the location, being a bit out of town and with views of the mountains, it was perfect. the food in the restaurant was fabulous and worth staying just for that.

the room was quite small and the bathroom and corridors old fashioned in decor, compared to the other areas.

Everything really - a lovely quiet location within a couple of minutes drive of the centre of Chambéry. Good restaurant food for an evening meal, ample 'continental style' breakfast.

Loose toilet seat, very dusty legs at base of stool in bathroom - but these are VERY minor points.

Great place to stay with fantastic staff. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and hadn't realised that there was no meal service for dinner. We were able to have a lovely lunch which kept us going until the following morning. Breakfast was great and they even had some gluten free bread which was great.

Informality. Very friendly people. Location was perfect - quiet but close to the city. We could go for a walk straight from the hotel. Good honest food with nice terrace. Easy to park.

This is a Logis hotel which provides basic but comfortable rooms. The restaurant food was very high quality as was the breakfast.

The gentleman who owned the hotel appeared to be concerned that his staff kept an accurate count of drinks we were having. Not sure why.
