Hôtel Ibis Cognac Centre

Jean on reception was so accommodating and friendly. He helped us navigate our way around cognac and was always polite and friendly when he saw us. Fantastic location and close walk to bars, restaurants, shops and the beautiful river.

For our 4 day stay we could have benefitted from a bit more wardrobe space such as a couple of draws or an extra shelf. The top shelf was really dusty so we had to clean it before using it

Hotel location is amazing. In the very calm part of the Cognac center, close to Martell and Remy Martin. Big free parking just in front of the hotel. Hotel is cozy and clean, good option for solo travelers or couples. Ideal for business reasons. Breakfast was good with fresh food and bakery products. Staff was helpful when needed.

Excellent hotel that met all expectations. Lovely staff. Room was clean and worked well - bathroom, shower, air conditioning, and bed. Hotel was quiet and in a fantastic location a few minutes from the center of Cognac. EXCELLENT value to stay in this area. Free parking on weekends across the street and around town.

we almost got stuck in the elevator a few times, we’d take it to ground level and the door wouldn’t open, it would then proceed to level one, not open and then it would go to ground and luckily open.

Decor/condition of the separate toilet within the room was akin to a 2 star hotel (but the separate main bathroom was in much better condition).

The room was very clean, with a good shower room. We everything we needed. Great location. Very friendly, helpful, cheerful staff who also spoke English...a great bonus for us as we have limited French.

We would liked to have had tea/coffee facilities in our room.

Clean and tidy and we asked for a room close to the lift as my wife is disabled and the receptionist could not have been more accommodating and she changed our room so close to the lift we literally stepped from the lift to the room door. Full marks to her!

pur meetings were on the river quay and it was a difficult for us to walk up and the hill

The staff were outstanding! We needed to urgently print travel/covid documents and the manager and receptionist were really helpful.Bed very comfortable and towels and linen excellent. Location super for looking round Cognac and the Cellar Restaurant recommended and booked for us by the receptionist was delightful. Large car park just across the street for convenient parking/

Hotel has been decorated recently but it is old and really needs a proper refurb.

Great location for walking into town with shops and cafes close by. Public parking opposite and street parking. Lovely selection for breakfast.

Breakfast is a little expensive. No coffee making and we had to ask for ironing facility.

Good location, free public parking nearby. Nice staff and good room for 1 night stay. Dog friendly.

It’s better to park in the evening as during the morning/day parking lot nearby is pretty crowded.
