Hôtel Concordia Le Mans Centre Gare

-very nice accommodation , in the city centre , 1min walk to the tram stop and 10-15min walk to the train station by foot. room has all basic needs you need for a comfortable stay. not so modern building but all still functional. booked the stay with dinner , reservation can be done upon check in which was very easy. included are either appetiser and main dish or main dish and dessert. options were limited but tasty and came in good portions. big applause for the waiter as it was busy and she had to do everything herself and it took longer as usual but she was really helpful and attentive. thumbs up As for the breakfast the second morning , nice options from the usual baguette to even crepes available. Grounded coffee or nespresso coffee provided.

Nada was exceptionally helpful on reception. Bright smile and welcoming, tri-lingual, nothing too much trouble. Took time to explain the feature of central Les Mans on the map and thereby enhance the visitor experience outside as well as inside the hotel. Central location, super handy for the train station and main square but with off street electric gated private parking inside 50 meters of the grand steps to this classy hotel. Oldest hotel in Les Mans with well decorated interior, high ceilings, quality beds and well proportioned rooms. A classy stay.

More investment in the consistency of kitchen output which overall was a minor detraction outshone by other positive features.

This Hotel was very comfortable and is situated in the centre of the city so it was easy to go to the circuit via tram or bus. The breakfast was excellent a lot of breads, cereals, fruits, pastries and other items. Thanks to this excellent breakfast it made my stay and the 1000 motogp race more enjoyable. The staff working there were professional and very friendly. The bathroom was very comfortable and modern.

Good location for city centre. Breakfast was very good mainly continental but eggs and bacon available. Quiet location. Good for the tram which has a stop nearby. Receptionist, Nada, was very professional and welcoming. A real joy to deal with.

Parking is very tight and restricted at front of hotel. Which is chargeable. (I was not informed of the charges on booking). A little mean with the coffee, tea and milk in the room. (Only 2 very small milks provided each day).

Travelling with my mother in law we were given adjacent and communicating rooms, even though we had not asked for that and it meant an upgrade for one of the rooms, and it was great to have this. The personnel were very helpful to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was in a nice setting and with lots of good things to choose from.

There wasn't really much not to like. We had chosen this hotel specifically because of a previous visit, and we were not disappointed.

We stayed for one night last years so knew the hotel was a good location. Upon arrival the gentleman at reception said they’d upgraded us. Our previous room was big but this one was huge. Beds were so comfortable. Staff all friendly. Location is perfect. Parking only a small area but both stays we have been able to park. Good value for money

The locks on the doors are a little bit of a pain as you had to turn the key so much to try and get it to lock. This is me being picky and trying to find something negative to write as it was all perfect for us

This hotel has clearly been one of the casualties of COVID which is a shame because it was once a beautiful building. Having said that, the staff were absolutely brilliant and the hotel food was amazing. The room was an excellent size but certain areas of the hotel have lacked investment but it was all cosmetic. The bones of the place is good and, once again, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful

The area in general was a bit run down and grubby.

This place was awesome. We stayed here one night and wish it was one night more. We arrived very early and were able to leave our bags at the front desk while we explored the city. When we checked-in later in the day, it was very easy. Front desk staff were very friendly and nice. Our room was LARGE. We had a lovely room with a huge bed and it was FANTASTIC. Bed was comfortable. Linens were soft and pillows were fluffy. Our room looked out over the front parking lot and street and it was quiet during the night once the tram stopped running. Bathroom was also large with a great shower with good water pressure and hot water. Towels were fluffy. Clean room. We would stay here again!

Furniture is a bit old, but it added to the character of the place. Breakfast was okay.

Upon arrival we got a free upgrade from a superior room to a prestige room. This upgrade was very welcome. The room was spacious and the bed was big and comfortable. We’re glad the room had a bathtub. Staff is friendly.

It’s an older building that comes with its charms. But, also with some downsides. The walls are thin and therefore it’s easy to hear the neighboring rooms. The room itself didn’t have a lot of lighting. Breakfast was okay, not bad but also not special. For some rooms some stairs are mandatory, which is fine when you don’t carry a lot of luggage or don’t have a disability.

We were welcomed by a very nice man on reception, whom kindly offered us a superior room, which was very large and very comfortable. Parking was available at the time of day we arrived, 13€ per night. Very handy considering the only other parking nearby was for a maximum of 1h30m. We declined dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, but we had a wonderful breakfast at the hotel the following morning - really nice coffee, tasty scrambled eggs and smoked salmon and nice bread. We also had fresh pain au chocolat and Actimel. We highly recommend Hotel Concordia and we would stay again on our next visit to Le Mans, a beautiful city.
